If I could give them zero stars I would
FUTURE BUYERS MUST READ.
Alright everyone just because I work in customer service and HATE angry customers this story is just too wild to pass up and I’m hoping to reach future buyers. As I posted a few months back I bought my Pontiac used at this dealership (2 hours north of where I live).. I loved my salesman and he did what I asked in order for me to purchase the car! Loved him! I then found some noises and went back north about 3 more times to get them fixed. After spending some time there like I anticipated they told me what was wrong and fixed my problem (to my knowledge) and gave me a gas gift card for any troubles. Well 3 months later ALL THE NOISES AND PROBLEMS WERE BACK. Okay no problem, I had spent $850 and figured I’d be able to take it back up get a loaner car and have them refix it. Well Ryan the manager of service said “It’s hard to believe you’ve worn out our parts this quickly, and that you’re just noticing problems 3 months later. Find a reliable mechanic because you don’t know what you’re talking about and neither does your shop.” (Shaver Road Auto Service is extremely reliable and I love them so I know they weren’t lying to me)
Well 2 months later after having it looked at and everything I asked for a refund or to have a loaner vehicle and they can fix my car and Ryan the service manager referred to me as being “retarded” and said multiple times i don’t know what I’m talking about and that the noises i was hearing are new and definitely not what they fixed and proceeded to HANG UP ON ME. Also reached out to his boss and no response.
That was just too far and I took it to GM corporate. Corporate came back and had notes from Ryan and not only did he lie about what he said to me he put in there saying that I called him “mentally handicapped”.. not that he called ME retarded also put it there that i had swore profusely and was uncooperative. Its so scary to know there are more customers getting scammed and lied to by their so called service “manager” when he lies right out of his teeth. They refused a refund and will no longer help me. GM offered me $100 service voucher to get repairs on my car and said i could only return to Sundance the original place I bought it to see if those were really the problems. Great and all but when I’m out $850 and a car that’s not fixed why would I ever return to a place that referred to me in such a horrible manner, I’m pretty peeved with the bad business and WILL FOREVER share my story and hope to god they lose some business.
I know I’m not the first nor the last and hopefully this will sway your decision.
We bought a car from Tera and we were thrilled with the family environment and friendly service.
Horrible. My car this summer blew up on me and Mike said he would get me a loan for a car. He sent my SS# and other personal information to banks across the US and completely wrecked my credit in which I have worked so hard to get up. He did it because it was an hour to close and he wanted to go home to his family. Do not go here. They don't care about you. They just want to go home.
I went to have my car serviced for a couple recalls on it, and I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was very friendly and never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. I even got a different key for my car because mine was broken. The only complaint I have is that I had never been there before and had no idea where to go, as I saw about three different entrance areas but I did find the right place the first try and the service person was very helpful when I mentioned I wasn't sure if I was in the right place.
They have always taken care of my service needs at a reasonable price and have done good work.
Great people. They were willing to provide a lot of service to earn our sale. Our salesman was very honest and upfront.
Just had the worst experience not buying a car in my life. I went there, told the salesman explicitly that I was not looking to close a sale today. He told me that was fine, and we proceeded to look at a few cars. I picked out a couple I liked, so he had one of them brought up for test drive, all the while assuring me that he's "blunt," and "not a liar, like some of those other guys." I drove the car, it was fine, but I wasn't sure I liked it for me. We went inside to crunch numbers, "just so we don't have to do it later, should I decide to buy." I mentioned I wasn't sure about that particular car, but he proceeded with figuring numbers.
Prior to each of the 3 "let me go talk to my manager" moments, I reiterated that I was not looking to buy today, each time eliciting a higher level of annoyance in the salesman. After I'm there for 2 FREAKING HOURS, a man I can only describe as being a plaid jacket short of a used car salesman caricature emerges from his lair to say "Randy, what's it going to take to get you into this car today?" I wasn't aware people actually said that outside of 80's sitcoms. I said for 12th time that I was only looking, and he actually said, "If you want to look at cars, you can go to Walmart, they got a lot more cars than I do." Wow. Seriously, dude? Forgive me for not wanting to jump into a $15000 purchase without taking a day to consider it. I will never go back. I was treated rudely, and like I was a waste of their time.
Ethan is the best! He genuinely cares about his customers and went above and beyond to make me happy. Absolutely happy with my new car and the deal we made!
STAY AWAY!
Shaddy shaddy.have waited 2 weeks for them to put a deal together some how it was very difficult for them even though i went 4 different places and no one else had any issues. Only was trying to go through them bc they had the vehicle i wanted. Well i put a $500 deposit down on it the guy gets a call with me sitting right they're im listing to him and this other sales man from grand ledge talkong and the guy said he took a down payment on it. So my sales guy give him the vehicle i wanted! Then proceeds to tell me "oh they had to take it off the lot its rusted out and we cant sell it to you. I find it very hard to believe you have had a $10,000 vehicle on your lot for sale and somehow missed so much rust that the vehicle can not be sold. I did not appreciate being lied to so he could save his sale. Then i go for the vehicle 2 yrs newer bc they sold the one i had a down payment and they dont even come with a warranty passed 30 days.then they tell me i need $4,000 down and my trade in i said thats not happening i dont have that and he saids okay ill go tell my manager so you dont waste anymore of my time trying to get you a car.REALLY WASTE YOUR DAMN TIME ! YOU WASTED 2 WEEKS OF MY TIME ! Ridiculous! Hes real lucky i chose to walk away.
Funny they screwed me around for 2 weeks and i walk in to a competing dealership and they have the car i want in the yr i want with 60,000 miles less than the car they were selling for $1,000 less.better conditon this thing only had 58,000 miles on it. They give me a $200 coupon off my purchase. Tell me i only need $500 down and funny because they went through the same high risk credit company sundance was trying to go through and get me approved, deal written up, and in my new car 1 hour later. Oh and get this with a 36 month warranty for anything mechanical and free oil changes for the entire time im buying the car.
Hmm if yall are the" best car lot in the state" tell me how come it took you 3 weeks to do something the competing car lot did in 1 hour. Will tell everyone i know to stay away from here. They dont even listen to what you want and just try and put you in anything to make a sale.
I should have went to the other place2 weeks ago. Ppl bigger companies arent always better. They get to big and loose sight of how to properly treat a customer and quality drops.
Excellent salesman - Mike worked with me to get the exact Terrain I wanted. Love my GMC Terrain with heated seats, color black and decent gas mileage.
My experience was awesome! I was looking to buy a new Encore and they were able to find the exact one I wanted. They even put in a moonroof for me! They payments were exactly what I was looking for and they were extremely helpful and very professional. Everybody was very friendly and I will definitely be back!
My experience buying my 2016 enclave was a very good one. They got me exactly what I wanted and kept my payments right where I wanted them. They had a good variety of new cars to choose from but if they don't have the exact car they will dealer trade for you making sure that everything is just how you want it.
I highly recommend this dealership! My salesman, Chris Fisher, did everything in his power to make sure my car was fixed when we came along issues. They waived my $100 deductible and fixed my car for me, gave me a rental, and put two new tires on it (that Chris paid for out of his pocket) all with no expense on my part. Like I said, excellent dealership. I would recommend them to anyone, especially my salesman! Like I said, when there were issues, they made sure I was happy again with their business and that there were no issues with my vehicle.
