I went in today and was unsure what color to dye my hair from my natural jet black. My stylist was Shelby (or Shelly as they called her sometimes). She went above and beyond to brighten up my hair to a warm brown. It took over five hours, but she didn't complain and did a phenomenal job. And I mean phenomenal!! Definitely going back. I am so happy!!

This place is super cheap, about $20 for a hair cut. I love the decor, very cute and homey, and the staff are welcoming and sweet. I've been coming here for years and have always been pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend it!

I have been going to The Hair Company since 2006, when I first went to them to get my hair done (and my girls' hair done) for my wedding. All of the stylists we worked with that day were so professional, I decided to make it my "normal" salon. I have had three stylists since I started coming to The Hair Company, and all three have been very friendly, professional, and have done a FANTASTIC job with my hair. My hair is difficult to work with too, because it is very thin and fine. I have always had complete confidence in my stylist, which for me is difficult, since my hair is so thin. I have never had an issue with The Hair Company and I feel as though if I did, they would be quick to remedy it. They do a fantastic job and if you are looking for a salon in the West Michigan area, The Hair Company should be your first choice!!
