Awful.. campsites are nasty, filthy, full of debris. Not safe to walk pets.. satellites don't work. No cable. Construction debris and rusty bottle caps everywhere.
I was attacked but not bitten by a dog there. Very aggressive dog not well kept at all chased me and tried to bite me.
    Not safe for kids .
I would not recommend this place to anyone.
NOT WORTH THE MONEY EVEN IF IT WAS FREE.

The facilities are clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, but I like my camping a little more secluded and private. The sites we stayed at were right off the main road and entrance to the park. There isn't much tree cover and there were street lights all over. It kind of had the feel of camping at a truck stop. There is also a pig farm near by that when the wind hits just right, is impossible to ignore. If your looking for a weekend out in nature, I do not recommend sun valley. I would have given 1 star, but the staff was super nice and helped make the best of our stay.

I thought by the pictures that this would be a fun family-friendly campgrounds. I was very wrong. The pool is nice and big and looks beautiful as you drive into the park, but it's just a pond. Pea gravel on the bottom. They really don't have any campground rules either. They have campers that I think were seasonal throwing a party with loud music and everyone at that campsite was drunk. There must have been 20-30 people there. The party went on until way past 2am. The next night was the same way. This place is advertised as being great for families but it really is not. It is great for drunks. The office staff was very friendly though. I did complain the next morning and the lady at the front desk did inform me that there are some loud parties on the weekends. They really really need to put some rules in place. One being a quiet time!! We will never go back and we will never recommend this park to our friends or family. NOT worth the headache and sleepless nights.

I'm giving this at least 2 stars because Office staff was super helpful, she went out of her way to check us in due to a late arrival. We were gone most of the day the next day because of an event for my child. We got back just in time for trick or treat, we were only out trick or treating for a few minutes with my 3 year old only to run into ladies that were dressed very inappropriately trick or treating for beer, so you could imagine how uncomfortable we all were. As all the other reviews stated, there is no quiet time, people were up partying and being loud all hours of the night. The site a few down from us decided to play cornhole at midnight in the empty lot next to us, and they weren't quiet as you could imagine. I could go on and on, however this is no campground for families. Wish I would have looked at the reviews before we went because we would have picked a different place to stay.

Awful experience paid for a electricity site kids ran through our camp site until 12:30 pm screaming, unplugging my cords, and also taunting our dog. But the money was unrefundable life lesson learned about this campground we called the office several times no answers then someone pulled up telling us to keep our dog quiet but he was quiet until people were running through our site at midnight awful campground don't waste your money 👎👎👎👎👎

Never again will we stay at this place! The management will fool you! They will be pleasant when you arrive and once you there they don't care. This place has dirt/Gravel roads and gravel rv parking, but all around your rv is mud! So if it rains for even one day your car will be parked in mud. We asked if they could put some gravel down (as they have mounds of it on the property) and was told they didn't want to kill there grass! There is no grass! It was all mud. I made reservations online and from the website it looked nice. Don't be fooled! It was not. It just looked like a run down trailer park. I gave 2 stars only because it would be suitable for working men to stay, as they are usually only there long enough to sleep.
