Since the new management took over the place has begun to go downhill. Dog poop everywhere (previous management had a fine for anyone who did not pick up after their dog, and they cleared the bins twice per week), no notification if mail/packages have been dropped off at the office for you, brought a friend in to look at renting and the rep at the front was woefully inadequate at doing her job (she pretty much handed them a brochure and said "we look forward to seeing you again"). I miss the previous management who actually got to know all the residents and knew what they were doing.
Oh and the management office would be closed randomly with no announcement to the residents - just a little note on the door.
I would recommend this place.
When United Management took over they held a meeting to inform residents of their intentions with the apartments. I was not given a good first impression neither were other residents. Since then they've had more than one manager replaced. I had a remaining balance due for a utility which I was never notified of because a copy was never to my forwarding address. Thankfully I called to inquire about a different matter and was informed of the balance then. Wonder what would have happened had I not called the office for another reason?
When the company took over they stopped taking rent payments on site, they didn't want to tell me what my prorated rent would be because apparently you have to jump through hoops and "call the home office for balance information" (since the leasing office apparently didn't handle finances then), the animal poop wasn't being cleaned up because they didn't supply bags like they ensured they would when they arrived, and maintenance wasn't to be on site during the week, just some days. I'm sure it's gotten worse. I'm so thankful we left just a month after they took over. I'd hate to live there now.
I think it would be ok if the floors were not paper thin and the people above me didn't sound like they have a heard of cattle running laps all day.. and if people would pick up after their pets.
I loved my apartment. Excellent location. Very quiet. Was very sad to move.
The property manager Erin is very inexperienced and rude. Otherwise, great location and layout.
I lived at this location for over 2 years and I loved it I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Summerlyn Cottages the people that work in the office was great. Any issues I had it was taken care of in a timely manner.
When I went to see the apartment I was like wow it's big and nice the office lady was very nice and it clean, quit and lovely and beautiful I can't wait to move there 💖
I LOVE my apartment! Its close to everything, its super quite, updated kitchen, I'm right by the pool and Rachel the manager is the best property manager I have ever dealt with. I moved to Fayetteville from out of state without even looking at the apartment so I was a little worried but so glad I choose this place!
Nice apartments that are newer, small gym. Needs a pool.
