I came into Summerhays not knowing a lot about cellos, and I was very stressed by the amount of research I was doing before coming to Summerhays and still not knowing what I wanted or what to look for when purchasing a cello. But thanks to both Melissa and Matthew for quickly acknowledging me and helping me find the perfect cello, I left Summerhays confident and comfortable with my new purchase. I look forward to coming back here for all of my cello and instrument needs.

Best music store in Utah! It has a wide selection of instruments, which makes tryout very easy and we have confidence in the purchase. If they don't currently have the model in stock, they are more than happy to order it in for tryout, no strings attached. We have rented and ordered multiple instruments and accessories from Summerhays. We also attended many of their awesome master clinics with star guests. This is also the place for our instrument maintenance and repair. One music store to rule them all!

I have purchased four instruments from this location. These guys are always willing to work with us. They are very knowledgeable and helpful! Their repair department is spot on! Everytime I have needed it they have been helpful and given great tips on how to avoid repair. Several times I have just walked in and had them fix instruments right away! Thank you Summerhays repair!

I've had many positive experiences with Summerhays' staff and products. The staff is always willing to work with the customer to find the best option. Just now I called to ask about trombone mouthpieces, and they invited me to come into the store to try out a couple on my horn. Couldn't be happier with their attitude and help.

I had a great experience with Summerhays Music in Murray. They were extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs. I lost my phone in their store and was leaving for a trip that day. I didn't know how to get a hold of them, so I connected with them via Facebook. They were very quick and responsive and helped me get me phone back before I had to leave on my trip. Summerhays music is a great music store with even better employees!

Another store kept giving me the run around on having an instrument for my daughter. With one call I was able to solve the problem. They held it for me until I was off work. The process was easy and staff was friendly. This is the epitome of customer service.

Best instrument rent to own experience. We've been coming here for three years now. Helpful service and awesome maintenance, damage, theft/loss coverage. They fixed my daughter's violin in an hour so it would be ready for her lesson first lesson that same day. Christian was so helpful!

I love this store. I brought in a bass to be fixed, as its bridge was in the wrong place and I wanted adjusters on it. A man named Christian helped me and he was very sweet, nice and gentle. He helped me to figure out what was wrong with the bass, and he told me what to they had to do to fix it. Melissa at the counter helped me to figure out all the costs, and I thought it was reasonable. When I came back in 2 weeks to get it, I was very happy. Everything was fixed and it sounded great. I loved the support and the people were extremely nice. They even helped my dad pick out a ukelele and he bought it! Kudos to Melissa and Christian, they were both very helpful and they are like instrument doctors!

This is a fabulous place to rent-to-own an instrument, buy accessories, and get your instrument fixed. They're very helpful and will let you try out an instrument before you buy it.

Very clean and very professional looking store, with a very attentive staff. We were just passing through and were approached by a bunch of salespeople. They pushed leasing a lot which is something that I don't like, but I don't have any problem with the company. It's how they do business.

I recently brought my daughter and her violin to the String Repair Department at Summerhays to have a string re-strung. Christian in the String Repair Department was absolutely amazing! He took so much time with my daughter who is just beginning to play. He showed her how to restring the violin, how to tune it, how to properly rosin her bow. You can tell he has such a passion for the instruments and what he does and the service he provides. He is amazing. Thank you for all you did.
