Rooms were clean if not a bit outdated. Halways and elevator were quite dirty. Staff was curteous.

The property is an old Residence inn. It is conveniently located off the highway and is about 12 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee. My wife and 2 year old daughter recently stayed here. The service was great, that being the sole reason for the 2 star rating. Did I mention, this property is old? Not in an "antique, historical" kind of way. It needs major overhaul. The bathrooms were terrible, specifically the toilets (poor flushing) and the shower pressure (minimal at best, which made it hard to get the sunscreen off). Not to mention, when we tried to give the little one a bath at night, there was NO HOT WATER. Through my 20 years of living on the road in various hotels, I've never EVER ran out of hot water. The breakfast cereal was stale, as evidenced when the little took a handful of cheerios and said "no like it, yucky". I do not recommend. HA

I would like to say the hotel and rooms are nice but the staff is unacceptable!! DO NOT get the penthouse suite they will make up any excuse to keep your deposit. The penthouses are the only rooms that require a deposit and they will keep it. There were multiple parties in rooms around my room they smoked, drank and was playing loud music. Upon check out they took my deposit because they smelled smoke and didn't care where the smell came from. I explained to them there was a party below me but they did not care.they still took my deposit. It is completely not fair, you will basically forfeit your deposit for someone else.

Due to this I will NEVER return to hotel. They need new staff new rules!
