I love Sugarbush! Many, many happy memories over the past 20 years, skiing here with my family and enjoying the Vermont mountains. I remember when Win first took over and he built the new buildings, they seemed extravagant, But now they are so much a part of the fabric or Warren and what makes this mountain so special. I don't ski anymore, but my family does. And it's great to come here and jus chill, eat in the cafes, read, and enjoy the mountains.

This place is massive. There are really two mountains. BTW if your going on a Thursday it is $30 for Mt. Ellen only. It's not really possible to hit the whole resort in a day. They have updated high speed quads and all the lifts go quick. There are upper mountain quads that help to spread people out. During the mid week it feels like you're alone on the hill. The lift staff are friendly. Keep in mind there are some flat zones for you snowboarders. The steep black trails are really fast and wide open, plenty of room to charge. The backs on the upper center mountain are bumped out and challenging. The glades are steep up there.

This is a great place to ski. I ski here almost every week and have never had a bad experience. The lines can get a little long but that's mainly on the holidays. Overall I would definitely recommend skiing here!!

Just got back and had a great time. Beautiful resort and nicest bunch of people cant say enough how nice every one was. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. See you all soon and keep up the great work, much appreciated !!!

Love this place. If you want the small town real Vermonter feel this is where you want to be. The backcountry is great, trails well taken care of. It's privately owned which is important to me. Only 4 stars and it's not their fault. Snow making unfortunately this day and age in VT is very important and legally they are not allowed to use as much water as other resorts. Trails can get run down if there isn't snow in the forecast. Still this is a true Vermont ski area and town. With great skiing and riding for beginners all the way to the best of the best.

We attended a fall wedding here. the setting was perfect on a mountain.
we took the elevator up to the mountain for the ceremony. The resort people were nice. view from the mountain was nice. I am sure it will be much nicer in winter for skiing.

I just had the worst experience possible at this resort. I wanted to purchase Season Passes for the upcoming ski season. I called with a few general questions before I spend over $2,500, I wanted to know projected opening date and a few other general questions. The front desk receptionist was completely rude, his name was Allen at the Clay Brook Front Desk. Allen told me he was busy and had no time to answer my questions and hung the phone on me. I called back and said I understood he is busy and asked if he could please call me back if I give him my phone number. Allen informed me he did not have time. So I asked for the contact information to his boss which he informed me that he doesn't answer to anyone. After arguing with Allen for a few minutes he finally transferred me to his manager and I left a message. I would rather spend the extra $1,000 to ski at Stowe or Killington before I ever give any money to this resort. I have been skiing for the last 30 years all over the country and I have never had an experience like this before. Truly horrible!!!!

Breathtaking mountain top views from the chairlift. Hike up or down or ride up or down. Here come the fall leaves. The lift operators were very attentive to our comings and goings! Wonderful experience on a beautiful early fall day.

Sugarbush is definitely my favorite Eastern resort. Everyone is really friendly, the ticket prices are lower than many places, you have two whole mountains to ski on, the terrain is exciting for the East, and the tree skiing is great! The lodge is nice and après gets fun here!

I was at Sugarbush for the annual pond skimming event and it was awesome. It was very well organized and extremely fun, I would recommend this to anybody.

Without a doubt the coolest lodge in the east! Its such a pretty area and this fits right in with some of the farms you'll see nearby. Good mountain with fun terrain!

Worth the drive. I had a chance to speak with Win Smith (Owner/President), he said something that absolutely epitomizes Sugarbush. He said, we control the controllable. We can't control the weather, but what we can control is the service and how we make people feel. The mountain alone is slam dunk. Once you factor in the attention from amazing lift operators (who even came around with cookies), the speed and attention from the rental staff, and even the great attitude of servers in the restaurant, you realize you never want to leave. It doesn't matter if you stay for the day, or a whole season, it always seems too short.
