Possibly the most ethical company I've witnessed. Contrary to other peoples comments who clearly have not worked at SIA, the most that SIA will make there production workers work is a 10 hour shift with 10 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch. But way more than that, the benefits package is outstanding, if not the best one could get in Indiana. The company stands behind their workforce and it's noticeable from day one. Not is this factory one of the safest in the country it also happens to be extremely conscientious of the environment and community it is in. While being one of the leaders in environmental policy through being a zero landfill plant to its backyard wildlife habitat they truly redefine what it means to be courteous to the environment. It's the more than generous compensation and benefits package, their commitment to safety from day one all the way to their commitment to the environment that makes this company truly a golden poster child for business ethics and I couldn't feel more blessed to know companies like this still exist.

I feel bad for anyone who has to work in one of the factories for these jerks. People are forced to work 12 hour shifts Monday-Saturday and get only 5 minute breaks during their work. Recently they've been trying to force people to work Sundays as well meaning that their employees may soon be forced to work 13 days straight without any time off. Anyone who tries to take a day off is threatened with losing their job, even if they notify the management ahead of time. They're an awful company with terrible leadership and practices, and their factory employees' morale is practically nonexistent thanks to them abusing their employees needs for work

Subaru of Indiana Automotive is the region's best employer and is responsible for implementing an industry first zero landfill initiative. Their commitment to the preservation of the environment together with their innovative and progressive workplace practices sets this auto manufacturer apart from all the rest.
