Stonum is a great facility. I have taken half a dozen different cars tot hem over the years, and used them for everything from oil changes to installing custom wiring for a project on my Corvette. They are well trained and provide good service.

I haven't had to take my vehicle in for anything in quite some time, when I have needed help, this business has always gotten me in quickly and have done a fantastic job on my repairs. Their prices are fair. I will be going there next time I need help for either of my vehicles. Friendly and courteous staff !!

The first time I took my car in, Stonum was able to fix an issue with the heat that eluded another shop. More recently they quickly and accurately diagnosed a misfire and replaced the spark plugs and wires. They are fair, honest, and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend.

I've used Stonum Automotive in maintenance on old vehicles and helping me assess new car purchases for years. They are honest, timely, and kind. Since relocating to the Denver area I tried using other repair shops closer and have been so unsatisfied I have been making the commute back to Stonum Automotive for services and repairs. These guys rock, if you want an honest shop that does good work this is it.

We have used Stonum automotive for many many years. He is checked out brand new cars we wanted to buy, he has done the routine oil changes and even resurrected our Jeep after it died on a trail. He's honest and the crew does detailed work. I trust them and I know that they will never serious wrong.

Rather than giving me options of parts to purchase (dealer vs. cheaper option), they selected the higher priced part. When I voiced my concern for the high cost of the part, he said that it was a better part and would arrive the same day, however the difference in price was over $100 in which case I would have waited for the cheaper part. Frustrated that I wasn't offered the options.

I have had repair work done a few times at Stonum. The timing belt on my 2005 Honda Civic was replace five years ago, and that work has stood the test of time. Just recently, the valve cover gasket on my Civic was replaced at a cost that was $90 less than the price that was quoted at another automotive repair shop in town.

I'm only giving 5 stars because there is no option for 6.

After 10 years of having Stonum as my go to guys for anything out of my skill level, or if I'm just to lazy to fix it myself, I can say with certainty I have zero complaints and am always happy with the work. John's pride and joy is his shop and it reflects. Travis as the manager seems to always have things running smoothly and in order. And Peter is also always a pleasure to be around. Keep up the good work.

Auto repair can be frustrating and expensive, thus you need a trustworthy, honest, and knowledgeable mechanic. In my recent experience with Stonum I found them to recommend excessive repairs while missing the real problem. I paid an extra $1500 for work that did not completely solve the problem and was not needed. I would have rather used the money to fix the real problem then potential future problems. They are either incompetent or untrustworthy. In either case I do not recommend them on difficult to diagnose problems. If you know what needs to be done they are more than capable of doing what you tell them.

Awesome company. There was a communication issue with diagnostic testing prices which left me frustrated. I was able to speak with the manager who heard my frustrations and got me taken care of. I am grateful for Travis and the Stonum team.

Stonum automotive has a wonderful business front, well mannered employees, and a respectable service model. They are honest, in that they carry out repairs that were agreed upon; however, their practice is far from honest.
Stonum automotive failed to properly diagnose a major issue with my vehicle. They asserted that my problem would be fixed following a repair from their diagnosis, and it was not. After requesting a warranty service, my car was held for several days followed by trouble that caused the necessity of an unrelated repair. Then, to my dismay, I was told I would need to pay for further investigation as to the cause of my issue. I can understand that diagnosis is not a perfect practice, but this was not a mistake. A second opinion has confirmed to me that the real cause of the issue was “easily identified” and “common.” Do not pay into this unfair business, as they can not hold their practice to the same standards as the appearance of their service.
