This place is just terrible, we arrived Dec 21st after dark, they have no outside sign so we had no idea where they were until we stopped at a gas bar and asked, the outside lighting was a florescent blue and very hard on the eyes and seeing where to go. The room was nicely renovated but watch your knuckles as there is no room to shut the door once inside. Behind is a rundown trailer park with lots of noise. You have no shops or food close by. We did not get any room cleaning and i had to ask for clean towels. We were charged 210.00 per night, beds were extremely uncomfortable. Paying this exorbitant amount you would think you would get better service - especially housekeeping - totally a disappointment - beware
This is my new getaway when I need to unwind.
Was surprised of how much it kept true to what was promised on the website. The dock is beautiful and the beach view is also remarkable. The rooms are renovated clean and comfortable as well.
Would have been a 5 outta 5 rating if the rooms had applianes other than a coffee maker. There is no microwave so u are constantly going to the local eateries (which werent bad). There weren't any extra blankets so the room got pretty cold due to the heat not working. The office closes at 8p so you are on your own after that point if you need anything
Overall I would give it a 3 outta 5 and I would go back again
My boyfriend and I stayed here from Tuesday through Thursday. Lets start with the positive tthings. The room was clean, cozy, and bright. It looked exactly like the pictures. The staff was nice and accommodated all of our needs. We loved the dock the most. The area by the dock was pretty and peaceful, exactly what I wanted during my visit. It was a cute set up it had two areas that had a covering and sofas there. Then there were about 8 beach/lounge chairs. They also had kayaks to use as well. The place is lit up at night by the rooms which helps. Now to the not so positive. The room was a bit small. Our heat wasn't working properly so it got pretty cold at night. There wasnt any extra blankets in the room. There wasn't a microwave available in the room. The front desk closes at 8 so if you need anything at night you're pretty much out of luck until the morning. The fire pits they described were actually propane and they were new and not available for use. I understand the hurricane caused alot of damage so things are still being renovated. So overall it was a nice place and we really enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely go again.
Saved by Stone Ledge! This wonderful, friendly resort has consistently provided stable lodging to Irma survivors in the Keys, by helping residents to secure stable shelter, allowing us to continue to be able to work in our awesome community! This motel is lovely and on the bay for great sunset views The staff is very welcoming, too! We are very thankful.
Very nice, recently renovated hotel in the heart of Key Largo. Beautiful sandy area on the water to take in the Florida Keys life. Kayaks available on site was a nice surprise too! Friendly staff, great experience for our weekend away.
My home away from home. Cute little motel with water access- friendly staff
After all the bad reviews I've read, after husband booked room for the busy Labor day weekend, I was skeptical. So as we turned into Stoneledge, I was holding my breath. As soon as I saw our room, I completely relaxed. Beautiful. Everything brand new. I gave the place a four star only for the beach area, don't get me wrong, it was nice we snorkeled the whole area plus more. But when you get out of the water there should be a place to rinse off. A outside shower would have been nice. Even a garden hose lol would've been nice. We had a space on the dock to dock our boat, but again no water to rinse off salt water from our poles. I know they are renovating, so heads up room 1-10 are done. I will be back. We live in Fort Lauderdale and come to the KEYSSSS like 5/6 times a year. We normally go further down, but I love Key Largo. It's easy in easy out, back home in less then 2 hours. Thanks Stone Ledge and hopefully you'll have fresh water to rinse off by the beach area. See you soon.
They have remodeled the rooms they are very nice! They did not have the kiaks and the other amenities like it said they did but it was still nice.
All rooms were not remodeled yet. And we stayed our first night in one that was not. Mattress was stained. The second night we was moved to a remodeled room. That room was nice. The host was accommodating.
The sold and now it's horrible no wifi doesn't even reach , no room service , flooding sinks.
Raised prices . . Change of administration Ohh Barbra how we miss you! They have turned stone ledge into something it's not. So many years so many memories. I'll never. Come again.
Very accommodating for our dive group, not many amenities, but we were primarily there to sleep between dives. Close to many areas of tourism for a very reasonable cost
I have stayed at this hotel twice before however this time was by far the worse. Went with my husband and our 4 kids The furniture in the hotel is falling apart the beds are hard. The people staying there were out blasting music till 2 am they left trash food and alcohol bottles all over the beach area and didn't clean it up till 10 am next day. There was lack of hot water and taking a shower in a puddle because the drains are stopped up. Even tho it's under new management and they are undergoing reservations the management is still HORRIBLE and we will never spend a night there again
Very nice motel in the keys. The rooms are nice and very reasonable. Full kitchen makes long stays easier with a family.
The staff is friendly. The room is exactly what we needed. Not the most updated. But that is ok. We have a kitchen a double bed and 2 twins. There is a boat ramp, dock and a small beach on site! We have stayed here before and will return when we can.
$100 a night to stay on the water in the Keys! The room wasn't awesome but who cares we were barely in it! Had a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back!
