We boat down there for lunch from Key Largo. So, we can only comment on the restaurant. Decent food that is a bit pricey. Very friendly staff and a nice view of their small marina. Will remain a regular.
Currently roadtripping through Florida and got a very nice rate here. The room I had was right on the water, and the marina next door offers you deals if you are staying at the hotel. Very laid back atmosphere. Also free Wi-Fi! Would recommend if you're just looking for a nice place to sleep or a nice view to wake up to without breaking your bank.
It's was a small snorkeling boat. Granted there were only 6 of us. Nothing too special to see. I 've been in a lot of different snorkel tours but nothing stood out here. People that own it are very nice though.
The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming with lots of suggestions that aren't part of the normal tourist stuff. The shower didn't have hot water but it was hot so cold shower was nice. The front desk staff when we checked out weren't very friendly and didn't acknowledge us when we walked in. Overall it was a great price for just a bed to sleep in on the way to the rest of the Keys but wouldn't stay more then 1 night at a time.
First they need to remove the word resort from the title..room didnt smell and there were no bugs..that is the best i can say..the place is a DUMP..not even a toilet paper holder. They need to close up .and rebuild..they invited us to breakfast and didnt have any..they have excuses for everything..stay away!!
This is one of the most quaint places in the keys to stay. It's in the water and close to everything you ever wanted to do in the keys. Islamorada is a great Island for families, singles, couples, Fisher men, etc. Highly recommend. If u want The Ritz Carlton, you need to stay at Ritz. If u want cozy and convenient, this is the place. The staff is Wonderful!!! Just like family!!!!
Food was not good. Our salad lettuce was hot as if it was in an oven before served. The steak fajitas were not seasoned at all and the ceviche was old as if it sat in a container for the last few weeks. Was really disappointed as the food as pretty expensive for us to take only a few bites. Our waitress was friendly although she seemed more entertained by the locals rather making sure our drinks or foods was taken care of. We were never asked how is everything or if we needed refills. We definitely won't be stopping here again on our way to Key West.
It was horrible and we were very disappointed in their facilities. We rented the "deluxe" houseboat thinking they would be average since the pictures on site looked decent. Upon arrival and no desk clerk, we found our boat that we had to enter by a pool diving board laid loosely from the dock to boat. No railing and not screeed down. A serious safety issue. The boat was run down but we tried to keep an open mind, but the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom was unbeatable. And we decided to not stay there as the did not have any other rooms to accommodate us and I was scared to see them anyways. Would not recommend this place if you're looking for a nice romantic stay. Maybe if all you want to do is fish. Staff never returned call. Lesson learned
The service was poor. They did not have a kids menu printed. We had to ask for water refills. The yuca fritters were greasy as well as the conch fritters. The lobster nuggets were merely 6 pieces for 16 dollars. The baskets were cute but filled with lettuce. We had better conch fritters from street vendors.
This is a cute little place! The staff is friendly and we are enjoying the breakfast every morning. It's a very laid back atmosphere and our little AC unit in our room is working hard to keep us cool. The AC unit is a bit too small for the size of the room and there isn't any kitchen stuff. Everything is what you might expect from a place in the keys.
Food was delicious! Snapper sandwich and Tuna Poke was great! And very reasonable drink prices. We'll definitely be back!
