I like Stearns Park. The beach is beautiful. The water is clear the sand is clean it's a nice place to kill an hour or two. E-Z Parking clean bathrooms a little Snack Shack and a place to rent wind boards and other things you may have forgotten at home.

The park is at the end of town. Across from the park area is Lake Michigan and a large beach. You can walk the pear to the light house. Cor being near town this is a great place to go. Yes, you can fish here too.

Spacious, beautiful, look out and see no land forever, is this the ocean? No better, salt free. Caught a new younger 20 something game of beach baseball. A great place to unwind.

Great place for the family. Clean beaches and plenty of space to to swim and walk around. Take a stroll down the beach and on to the pier. Check out the lighthouse, it open to the public for a small fee. During certain times of the year watch fishermen go salmon fishing and or perch fishing. After a long day playing in the sun and walking around, head back to town grab a bite to eat and treat the family to some ice cream at house of flavors, or just sit at the end of the pier and watch the badger come in to port for the evening.

Nice park but got a parking ticket that we shouldn't have and it was dismissed before we left town. Otherwise a nice beach and long pier to walk. I think a half a mile of the end where the lighthouse is located

This park is a very popular place in Ludington. This Lake Michigan beach is beautiful and huge. Don't let the size of the beach bother you though, because there are very nice walkways from the parking area to the water during the summer. This makes the being near the water easier on wheelchair bound people, families with strollers and people who just find it hard to walk in beach sand.

I love it here. The beach is huge, and clean, with lots of soft sand. It's close to downtown, with a little ice cream shack right there. It feels how a beach should. And you can always walk along the breaker wall to the lighthouse.

It's a neat park you should check out if you find yourself near Ludington. My wife and I enjoyed taking it easy and walking out to the light house and eating lunch on the beach. Would like to go back again this summer!

Best City beach in Michigan. Always clean and parking is FREE! Nice icecream snack shops on both ends of the beach. Handicap accessible PVC sidewalk with PVC wheelchairs available at the shops. Nice Pier and lighthouse next to the beach to add a nice walk if you want.

Beautiful Lake Michigan beach! Pristine white sand. Very popular beach in the summer. Plenty of parking. Good concession stands at both ends of the beach. Take a walk out on the pier to the lighthouse. Permanent volleyball courts frequent in use. There is a child play area and skateboard park.

One of the best beaches, so keep it clean! Great walk out to the pierhead. But when there are waves, do not underestimate the power and force of water. Many get swept off. Currents will drag you under. The park is nice to sit in for a picnic. Grills available. Bring charcoal and lighter fluid.
