The steak was delicious as well as the trimmings but there was a pice of plastic in my calamari and the management passed it off as a scale off the squid? They do offer military discounts so my hats off to them. 4 adults 4 kids, bill was 157.00 after tip. Just poor choice of wording especially when you say calamari has scales to a retired navy guy?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

11/22/2017: Our waitress was new, however, very attentive and responsive. Food quality was mediocre. Cajun seafood pasta boasted whitefish, shrimp, mussels, sausage and baby scallops. Quite a large bill, which intrigued me when I read the description. I believe the small portion size led to the absence of scallops and sausage. Essentially, there was no balance. As the manager on dutycustomer service is obviously not trained here as she was challenging and nearly argumentative.

Bottom linestick to burgers and beers and you won't be disappointed.

My only complaint was the speed of the service. Seemed like the staff was underprepared for the dinnertime "rush". However any reservations I had about this place dissolved once I had my steak. It was melt in my mouth perfection. The food is some of the best in the region.

Me and the wife liked the rustic atmosphere, the waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. My burger was spot on with well balanced flavors. The complimentary appetizer of French bread was soft and the seasoned dipping oil was exactly what it needed.

I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't so slow! Every time I come here I normally spent 20 minutes before even getting a drink order in, much less food. However the food is GREAT! Amazing drink specials as well.

It was my first visit to The Millhouse, Food was great from appetizers to the steak I ordered. My steak was cooked precisely the way it was ordered. Customer service was a little slow the evening I went but considering they were very busy the day before Mother's Day I was ok with the wait.

The restaurant is roomy and well laid out so you are not sitting right along side strangers. Our waitress was very attentive and congenial. We enjoyed a surprisingly good cocktail. The steak and ribs were excellent as well as the salad and other sides. I didn't like the Creme D'Brule cheesecake and it was immediately removed and not added to my check. Great place to eat and enjoy!
