50 degrees, beautiful day!! The only problem was the fish weren't biting.
we were there in sept 2013. nice place, cool lake with lots of character. was short on water, so there was lots of beach. good washrooms, good boat launch. we stayed down on the beach sites, which were scattered with litter. some trees and roads and pads were paved
If you like wind , this is your spot! My friend dropped his tent in the dumpster on the way out. Spendy campsites in rabbit gulch , which are as primitive as you can get.
It was 👍 nice.. Water was clean and has good places for the kids to play in the water
Just went for the day never had been there before fish for about 3 or 4 hours caught one fish beautiful scenery enjoyed it nice campgrounds but we were at strawberry
Awesome. Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Plenty of options, from tenting to cabins. Bring your camper, your boat and fishing gear. Excellent spot with really beautiful views.
We stayed in Mountain View Campground. Preferred being above the lake because the views are better and the boat noise is less. Great facilities with green grass. This is important because the wind came up every afternoon we were there, but there was no dust. Location is convenient. We went on day trips up into the Uinta Mountains.
Great place, me and my whole family go there each summer and stay in these little sleeper cabins you can rent! There is lots of grass and room for kids to play, and there is a beach by the reservior. We love it and enjoy it a lot. We also go down to the small city and shop around, always a blast. You and your family will love it there.
Tons of sand everywhere in the Indian campground. It was nice for a soft spot to pitch a tent but it got everywhere! Very hot for dogs feet. Great view and a lot of camp sites.
Beautiful. Starvation has great fishing and boating. There are even some decent cliff jumping areas.
Love love love the beach at Starvation. Good clean fun!! Nice beach and perfect water!
My wife and I go here frequently as we have property near by. We were recently caught up in a great storm while out in the boat and where blown off from the lake and where forced to wait out the storm while beached in a remote area. We were thankful that we were safe and off the lake. After the storm passed, we attempted to pull out but where unable because our boat was washed up too high on the beach for my wife and I too get it out. We tried for hours to get it out using several different methods while waiting for members of our family to arrive who were frantically looking for us. We where finally able to get ahold of the kind gentlemen in the guard shack who got a hold of the park ranger. They launched a boat right at dusk and came and found us and pulled us out. These gentlemen went over and above there job expectations in my opinion and deserve props for there service. THANK YOU 7-4-17
The trout are fat and delicious! Beautiful view. It's pretty relaxing, not too much boat traffic today. DNR was amazingly helpful and kind.
