I've been coming here for a very long time, coffee is okay, to say the least. Service is always sub par. It has some very cute aspects to it however I brought my cousin here for the first time and it was a total disaster there was a so-called Punk Winter Formal with a bunch of pretentious punks walking inside, lady was super rude when she asked us for money to get into the show when we clearly had no idea what was going on.
Could have been a lot nicer. All-in-all I will probably not be coming here much anymore because it was a terrible experience and I am done with all these stuck-up uptight hipsters.
By day it’s a great place to meet up with friends, get work done and have a nosh. At night it’s a lounge, a bookstore, a bar! Great bartenders and a laid back vibe make this a real treasure in Orlando.
Loved the Monday Night Market. Fresh local organic vegetables, local artisan products, food for sale as well as the teas and coffees inside. Live local musicians complete the atmosphere. Inside are teas, coffees, food, and plenty of books. Wonderful place.
Love this place! Always good food, always great music playing. There's a charming and magical vibe to the space. I love that this place is extremely Vegan-friendly.
Extremely rude cashier today from between 9:30am and 12PM. Tall girl. Other patrons complained about the same and apparently they say they have just grown used to her. I informed the cashier that I was new there but I'm certain I'd like a coffee and a small breakfast. She just stared at me like I was supposed to sort it out. Not helpful at all. Not welcoming at all. Customer service is paramount in any service oriented occupation. She shouldn't be there. I was with a large group and was also scouting for a new spot to host my meetups. I will have everyone I know steer clear. Oh, and the bathrooms were disgusting.
Very cool cafe. Stopped here for a meeting and had a latte with a sandwich, both were good. Very quiet place. Great place to get some work done.
Very cute, hipster cafe. Has an adorable area to read and exchange books. The menu has decent prices and unique and delicious dishes. Would definitely recommend. 👽
I love coming to Stardust. The atmosphere is great and the aesthetic is very prominent. It was kinda quiet since everyone was studying. There is a lot to read from since they have shelves of books anyone can choose from. The menu is extensive and fairly priced. The cashier/barista was slightly rude to me as she took my order though.
Hipster atmosphere all the way. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the staff. Most of them aren't very nice. The food was killer. I had a salad but it was very satisfying as a meal. They obviously have wifi and they have many books here too. My salad was called "ironic slogan".
The iced mocha was tasty. This is a really nice, cozy place to hang out and talk to good friends for a few hours, or to study, etc. The bathroom was a little smelly but it wasn't unbearable and it's to be expected since the building is an older one. Definitely going back soon.
It took a long time for Stardust to grow on me, but grow on me it has. It's mismatched, old decor is charming and the crowd is usually polite and chill. The menu provides a great selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten free options as well as your standard set of proteins, too. Our favorite items here are the vegetarian nachos, the Grinderman and the meatloaf sandwich -- accompanied by a cocktail, craft beer or a heavy pour of whiskey!
Great vibe. Good food. However, I ordered one of their special drinks and they made it extremely spicy. I asked them to please just make me a cheaper house version of the drink and they refused saying they would have to charge me again. They also couldn't quote me any actual drink prices so I had no clue how much I was paying when I ordered. I won't be ordering any more drinks from them.
This used to be a video rental place, and now is a cafe. I mention this because they still have movies lining a lot of the walls. Perhaps they still even rent them out??! They had G.G. Allen on video there (if you don't know who he is, you probably don't want to, but older punks would appreciate this).
They usually have a lot of events here Also they had a options for meat eater or non eater which I thought was nice So if you have a friend who can't ever eat anywhere cause they're vegetarian here you go.
This is the best coffee you will drink.
They have the best food prepared fresh.
I love to form her to get their iced green tea.
The staff are truly incredible,
young sweet old souls.
Who are full of creativity.
I have never met a stranger here and it's quality service.
I enjoy holding business meetings here and trying the large varieties of brews.
Sometimes on Wednesday's you can catch the open mic the group is called, "Writers of Central Florida and Thereabouts." Very entertaining and the atmosphere is flooded by professors and highly educated individuals bleeding on the mic.
This establishment is an asset to Central Florida.
Angie the bartender is an inspirational speaker who is an even better bartender. She makes the freshest squeezed grapefruit and grey goose vodka mixes. Not to mention her podcast "vagina chronicles" is a definite must listen to.
Hope you enjoy this establishment as much as I have. My children and I enjoy this place.
