We love eating here! The perfect place for a burger with the family and the shakes are nice too! The decor is cool too. There is entertainment although we haven't been in the evening to see it. Nice artwork. The desserts are special with huge servings

My burger was okay but the sweet potato fries and berry rhubarb pie was delicious. What was really great about this restaurant is they are walking/uber distance from the Hyatt or convention center and were able to accommodate our group of 70. Because the bill was being picked up by the organizers we were given a simple menu of 5 or 6 entrees but allowed to order off the regular menu on our own checks. The service was great considering so many people arrived at relatively the same time. The dessert menu alone is a reason to check this place out!

Food is excellent. They always have dishes that are unique and well worth the higher prices.
Salmon is amazing!!
The only issue was the host was a wee bit snooty and didn't pay any attention to us coming in. Had to flag him down to get on listresponse / report this review -

I loved this place! Very friendly, prompt service. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. The food is amazing and in such large quantities I can promise you will NOT leave hungry! Ginormous cheddar biscuits that are super soft and full of flavor. Even though omelettes aren't on the menu they will make one for you, and you can stuff it with all sorts of yummy goodies. It was one of the best omelettes I've ever had! I have so far only been there for breakfast but I am quite impatiently waiting for my opportunity to try lunch and dinner as well! I simply can not recommend this place highly enough.

Service was great from the time I arrived. I sat at the bar and watched the staff hard at work, helping each other out. I ordered Avocado toast and bacon. Delicious. Lemon basil on mixed greens was a nice garnish to the toast which tasted fresh. Cucumber in my water gave the restaurant a unique touch. During my breakfast time, what appeared to be a homeless man walked in with a paper cup and asked one of the runners for water. Without a question to ask the staff asked if he wanted some ice in it, to which the man replied yes, a few seconds later the runner came back with the men’s water and he went on his way. Random act of kindness. I don’t know the young man’s name but he was preparing food yesterday morning. He had a bright smile and kind eyes. That was the best moment of my experience that Standard Diner. ❤️👌

This restaurant is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots. The food has never disappointed, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable helping you choose from the many delicious menu options. Everyone must try the pimento crab dip, the smoked Gouda cheese tots and the mac and cheese with crab and green chile in it!

Last Sunday was my first time at Standard Diner and I couldn't have been more pleased! Our server was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Our first experience led us to go back again yesterday to be just as pleased with an entirely different server and meal. Both times I have gone I have been amazed by my meal and had a great time. Fantastic service, fantastic food, and and all around fantastic business!

Consistently good service and we've loved practically everything we've tried there. VERY good burgers that will handle even the mightiest of appetites! Absolutely worth trying if you haven't yet!

I have never been disappointed eating at the standard. From being the first at open, to the height of the busiest dinner, to that guy who comes in at 8:50 on a Monday night. Service is professional, and the food is great

Absolutely delicious. Completely surprised and blown away, considering I usually cannot stand the thought of diners or their food. However, we caught chef Mike on chopped and later found ourselves in town so had to try. I am very hard to impress and least to say I was indeed impressed. Based from the other reviews it seems as if we and a majority of the others had the kitchen on a great day.

Pretty average. The menu boasts a lot of uniqueness and the atmosphere is awesome. The staff is super friendly and very attentive, but the food is sub-par.. I think the menu is better written than the food is cooked. The meatloaf fell way short of my expectation considering all the hoopla it gets. I thought the fish tacos were dry and lacked flavor. That said, the appetizers are awesome, but its kinda hard to jack up fried cheesy stuff.

Oh. My. Stars! What a dining experience! Wanted to go after seeing this place on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. This place did not disappoint! Great service with over the top food. I will be back!

Very good breakfast joint. All the food is great. Of special note: they have these herb waffle biscuits, which are amazing. Lots of vegetarian options. Little for vegans. Special shout out to the staff, who are always awesome, friendly, and efficient. I recommend getting here early, as they can be pretty slow if you come during the rush.
