Let me tell you James is an amazing stylist. I've been going to him for over a year. He's definitely a character. The way he does my cut and color turns out beautiful everytime. Makes me want to strut down the street because I feel so beautiful! For new clients, couple things to keep in mind: yes he keeps exotic birds there (so they'll be squawking and he loves them like kids) and the styling area is in back, setup like a startup in-house styling area. It's unique, not like any other salon. However, I'd rather go to this diamond in the rough (come out with an amazing cut), then a "meh" cut and overdone color elsewhere.
