About ten years ago I worked here as a pizza cook and I was amazed at how truly amazing the pizzas I made tasted I have traveled from Michigan to Road Island , Florida to Arizona and till this day the Hotel Tavern has the best Pizza I ever had!!! When I was a pizza cook there we had people come from Tennessee, Kentucky, even as far as Montana just to try the pizza . If you love pizza this place is a must at least once in your life!!!

Nasty food. Rude service. Building is a dump and the walls are closing in on themselves because they don't take care of the structure. Do yourself a favor and go to Main St Pizza or Chubbys Cafe. This place is a dump.

I'VE LIVED IN THIS VILLAGE ALL MY LIFE. THE HOTEL HAS THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD. AND THEY PUT THE CHEESE ON TOP OF THE PIZZA ALOT OF CHEESE.

Great food and service both times I have been there. For some reason the cod basket comes with perch. The men's bathroom might be one of the worst bathrooms in the world. I'd just hold it if I were you.

I think their thin crust pizza is outstanding! I'm originally from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin areawhere they have such great "mom and pop" pizza places so I was spoiled. When we moved to Michigan I was bummed because I love and appreciate great pizza and found NONE! Until, one day we stumbled upon Springport Hotel pizzawhere they make their own crust(very important) and the sauce and ingredients are fresh while the crust gets nice and crispy. Yum! I love it!! In fact we just ordered one and I can not wait to take my first bite!!

Still the best pizza around! Our family has eaten pizza from the Hotel for many years now and we keep coming back. You definitely get your money's worth, too. Everyone we know loves the way they cut their pizzas and we all seem to fight over those little "corner" pieces. The waitress was fun and friendly and even though we weren't 'local', we were never ignored. We'll be back!
