Good beer selection, decent food. There are bars both up and downstairs. They usually offer daily drink and food specials, but don’t expect them to honor them on certain nights.. I was disappointed in that.

Met with a friend to have drinks and a quick bite to eat. I definitely enjoyed the time there. It's was midday so service was great and the food was delicious.

Stopped in for a friends private party up stairs. The bar tenders act like they have server's. So unless u r at the bar you will have to catch the server for a drink. That in it's self was difficult as you can't tell who the server's are so u wait until u see one brining drinks to someone. No name tag no shirts Nothing that says i work here. That took over 45 minutes to find out who it was and then to get their attention. Looked on line at the menu so i could order right away. The meal on the menu they did not offer anymore. So i had to wait for a menu that took 20 minutes. Ordered appetizers. They came in a reasonable tine. Almost forced to run a tap as the waiter would not just let us order without giving him a card. I get it when the wait staff didn't return to bring our bill Or check on us at all. Had to go to the bar to get my card back to check out. Don't show up thirsty as you wont get more than one drink an hour if your lucky unless u sit at the bar.. When your waiter don't show up after he brings your food. NO tip. Empty glasses are a sign that refills should be happening especially if you are paying for a drink. The wait staff must get a good hourly wage because he didn't care about getting a tip. waiter had no pen and could not handel more than one order at a time. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is it's a cool little cozy place. Otherwise it would get one star all due to the staff. There were empty table's and booths so it was not full even the down stairs was pretty much empty. So all in all they lost about $50-60 because my wife and I couldn't order drinks or food.

Good came out all wrong for 4 of us. Bills incorrect. Most of the food cold.

Attended an event near Harvey’s and wanted a hot cup of coffee during intermission. First cup was barely warm to say the lease. I inform the waitress who ( after five minutes) informed me that she was brewing a fresh pot, but the second cup was barley warm as the previous one. At this point I gave up and my husband paid for the coffee and we left. That was my experience with Harvey’s on November 12, 2017 @ 6 P.M.

Great burgers and pub fare. Also very accommodating to our family for lunch (they printed FNAF pictures for the kids to color). Very much recommend.

The service here is amazing! Carrie is literally the best bartender I've ever had, especially for a dive bar! She was so friendly and helpful with all the local beers. Will definitely come back when I'm in the zoo!!!

Easily my favorite bar in the greater metro Kalamazoo area. I love bars with many corridors and let me tell you - this bar has MANY corridors. I love it so much I'm actually here right now.

We love this place. The food is standard bar food, but the drink specials can't be beat. Trivia on Saturday nights is fun, but we also don't mind just sitting at the bar and hanging out. Upstairs is usually nice and quiet, unless there is a concert at the state theater next door!

Harvey's on the Mall is a classic Kalamazoo college spot that stays fun year over year. Nice set up with patios in the front and upstairs along with several bars all getting rapid service. A nice local hangout and spot to catch up with friends.

Not a bad place. The food comes out nice. The drinks are interesting, but they come in pint glasses and they make them strong so be prepared. Despite being made strong, their drinks trends to taste good.
On top of that, Harvey's daily deals are usually generous and they have live entertainment.
If you're out late in Kalamazoo, stop by for a drink!response / report this review
