By far one of the nicer hotels ive been too. Here with my fiance to see chicago for the week. The rooms are nice, the staff are kind, and the breakfast are delicious. The breakfast has scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, bananas, strawberrys, grapes, etc For the price and free parking it is way better than staying at a hotel in Chicago.
Generic Marriott rooms. Clean quiet and comfortable. Parking is a bit beat up but do not let that fool you.
The suite was pretty nice but the bathroom area needed overhaul. The shower was too powerful and the shower curtain couldn't constrain the water to the tub, resulting in water damage to the walls and spilled water on the floor. Also, cramped and the light is blocked by the shower curtain.
Nice hotel, pleasant stay. The breakfast was ok. It could have used more variety. Waffles were only available on Saturday, not Friday. The size of the room was great for two adults and two little kids. The pull out sofa bed is terribly uncomfortable unless you weigh fifty pounds like a little kid.
Thanks to my Google Maps GPS, I was able to navigate my way through the suburbs and find my way right to the hotel even though I am quite Unfamiliar with the area.
The room was a unique layout that I have never seen before in any of the hotels I have stayed at. I didn't need a separate seating area, or a separate kitchenette area, but I'm sure if you traveled with a family a little separation would have been appreciated. it did seem a little dated, like the rooms might not have changed over the past decade or so. But that is simply my opinion.
The bed was comfortable, and the four and a half pillows on it we're very nice.
The shower was another story, I took a shower 4 separate times during my stay, and the water never got hot at all. turned all the way towards hot it was only lukewarm. And I love a good hot shower. The other thing that gave me pause, was the tub itself. The tub floor. it all angled in, I'm sure it was supposed to help with drainage, but it made me feel like I was standing on a hill while trying to wash my hair and I did not like that.
I was slightly disappointed in the "hot breakfast". My first day there I made sure to get down early as to avoid a crowd. You could make your own waffles, and the only other things that I saw that we're "hot" were oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and some kind of spiced potato. I originally opted for the scrambled eggs, but they were not good, so then I opted for a bagel that I toasted myself. Bonus points for having orange juice that came from a dispenser, and not just cartons in a fridge.
the only other incident that I ran into during my stay, was the key card. I had to go back down to the desk when it would not let me back into my room. I waited politely while the lady behind the desk waited on another customer, I did not want to make a scene, I just wanted my card recharged so I could get back into my room.
I interacted with Hotel staff about 5 times during my stay, and each time they were exceptionally polite and always smiled at me. That goes a long way in my book.
Clean room and professional staff. Breakfast is a little subpar I would say though. Rooms are very nice though.
The hotel was decently priced and in an easily accessible area. The furnishings felt a little outdated and our bathroom was a bit too small. The breakfast area was also very cramped and it made it hard to move around.
Enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is the key cards stopped work almost daily. Shouldn't have to go down to the front desk to have it re coded everyday. Very inconvenient.
The lobby of the hotel was nice, and seemed very professional. The lady who helped me check in at the front desk was very helpful, and even gave me a map of nearby placed to eat without me asking for recommendations. My room however, seemed a little out dated, and there was mold in the bathroom. I would certainly stay here again, but I would hope to get a room with a nicer bathroom.
Bed mattress was very soft and you felt springs in your back. Lobby is small and cramped during breakfast hours. Decent place, but you can do much better in the same price range.
It was not a good time. The lift for the pool did not work so I was unable to swim. So I would not recommend this hotel.
They need better ventilation in the swimming pool. My husband sweat thru his clothes, he would have gone in the pool. however they do not check there lift ( for disabled people to get in and out of the pool) so while I swam he had to sit there and do nothing. But sweat and get upset. The hotel didn't offer anything when he could not get in or out of the pool, just kept saying the battery needs charging. Also the phone in the pool was broke. So good luck if you have an emergency. The rooms are nice, good size. the bathroom was tiny and the sink was in the room not in the bathroom.
Very nicely appointed room, king bed very comfy. Very good breakfast. Great place to stay for reasonable price near airport. Clean, modern, great staff.
Upon arrival, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was big and clean. Beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. I will definitely be back.
The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. Check in and check out was a breeze. The room was very clean and neat when we checked in and each time the staff came for turn down service. Continental breakfast was ready ahead of schedule with a multitude of options. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a hotel in Elmhurst.
