Went last week to purchase a pistol filled out the paperwork 20 minutes later guy comes back saying that it was delayed that it had to do with my last name being so common. I left a deposit of 120 for the gun. Got a called 4 days later saying that I was denied and that they couldn't give me a reason. Went as soon as I got the call lady by the name of Katherine tells me that she couldn't give me a full refund of my deposit that if I wanted the full refund I would have to get a gift card. Got the gift card went to sportsman warehouse within the hour got the clear and went home with my brand new gun. People, go to sportsman warehouse I really recommend it. Spragues is really bad.

This place is very overrated. They’re overpriced for just about everything. Almost anything is better bought online. They have some interesting milsurps again tho it’s always on the more expensive side. I’ve found nicer condition of anything they have online. I also find their staff to be a bit rude and incompetent. They’re older struggling with the computers and generally give out dated advice.
I brought a couple of friends to see the range once. The clerk took like 40 minutes to do our paperwork because he kept getting distracted. It was annoying. Yuma has a really nice public range nearby and there’s plenty of other places to get firearms. I really wouldn’t suggest this place for anything other than window shopping.response / report this review -

They get on you in the range for " rapid fire", because it's "too loud" even though they rent full auto. Seems a little conflicting to me. Also if you like being talked down to, this is the place for you. Been shooting for 15 years, never have I had such poor service. Prices are way high. Go next door and save $600 on the same rifle. Also when I went to buy accessories for my AR instead of help I was just told that I was looking at law enforcement mods. With condisention and a rude look. These guys seem to survive only because they are one of the only stores that sell certain items and have a range. No customer service at all. And if your not what they consider the ideal client it's even worse.

Warm staff, makes you feel at home and very knowledgeable. We haven't lived here long and already purchased three additions from this store.
I purchased my first gun thanks to their attention on the certain one I wanted the first time we stopped in. I received a personal call and rushed in to purchase my first Glock! Truly amazing customer service. Not all over you, but attentive and knowledgeable at need. They are a conscientious company and we're running a food drive. I recommend the place highly.

////beware basically got ripped off by richard sprague\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ 2/22/17 my honest opinion review about this place i am not going back to this place never. i bought a pistol from this place that kept jamming up plus the not working gun lock and i almost bought other pistol till one the employee literally called me a assho to my face for no reason disrespectful employees may be a handful are good richard the owner is joke and assistant manager is joke to very rude i don't how there still in business

Whether I enter Sprague's with a purchase in mind, or just meandering through their store in awe, I always enjoy visiting! If they don't have the specific model of firearm you're searching for, they will get it and quickly. Next time I'm back in Yuma, I'm definitely stopping in!

I was pleasantly surprised today when Sprague's accommodated my request for a price match. I had gone in to look at a particular pistol and was granted the price associated with a distant competitor. The accompanying paperwork was finished with a minimum of fuss and I was on my way and short order. I would like to thank Richard and Thom for their expeditious efforts and also foundHthat all the staff in the establishment friendly and accommodating. I am new to the Yuma area but will now be going nowhere besides Sprague's for my Sporting Good needs.

Finally took the Erfurt Luger to the range. It worked PERFECT ! 50 rounds Sellier&Bellot 9mm, no stoppages. And hit point of aim at 25 yards. I'm just tickled. A beautiful piece that works good as it looks. Thanks for the good deal.

Each and every one of your employees were friendly to me and I felt they were genuinely concerned about giving me the best service possible. The person I talked to the most was Larry and he made things easy for me to get the gun ordered. The person I talked to t in the shipping department was also a great help. Keep up the good work and give everyone a pat on the back for me.
