Spoon "helped write the first chapter of the city's culinary rebirth and are hard at work on the next one. Lead by Exectutive Chef, Jamilka Borges, Spoon is consistently serving the highest quality of food resulting in a stellar dining experience for their guests. My dining experience was just that. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and amazing cocktails. A very desirable dining situation to be in.

The experience at Spoon was wonderful! The service was quick, the food options were plentiful and tasty, beer and wine list was very extensive, and lastly the atmosphere was beautiful. I can't wait to go back and try something new next time!

Had a great dinner here, food was expensive but fabulous. Specifically the cauliflower was the first time I realized that cauliflower could be good. The hanger steak was also delicious.

Made reservations to celebrate our 16th Anniversary. What a delight! The food and service was exceptional. Relaxing and intimate without blaring music. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food quality was top notch. The appetizers we ordered were unique, but very flavorful. The best thing we did was order some of the wide selection of wines. Talk to the sommelier He made some excellent suggestions and did not disappoint. Parking isn't the greatest around this place, it took a few laps around the block to find one.

Dishonest and cut corners. We went here for New Year's Eve and they had several set courses for one price. First, my girlfriend got the first course and it was cold and had to be sent back. It seemed since the menu was set they weren't waiting for the orders but just preparing a bunch of the same meals in advance, which resulted in some sitting around for too long. The biggest fail was the dessert. We noticed circular cheesecakes coming to other tables. By the time we got ours, it had been cut into a few small wedge sections. When we put the wedges together they only formed 3/4 of the circle. It was clear they were running low and were trying to make the dessert last by giving customers less than what they paid for. The table next to us pointed this out and the waitress emphatically stated, "I can assure you that is the whole dessert!" But we had proof right on our plate that she was flat out lying. We will NEVER return to this establishment. There are far too many better restaurants in Pittsburgh.

If you love gin look no further. The host of Pgh Gin club boasts over 50 to choose from, a lovely selection of cocktails or you can request one of your own. The bar staff are extremely knowledgeable and hardworking, taking care of the bar and communal table. Reservations are definitely recommended and the food is to die for!

Very nice atmosphere, attentive waiter and excellent meal. The variety of choices on the menu was wonderful on a cold December night and the choice of dessert wines along with their delicious desserts was fantastic! Definitely would visit again!

I think that the food tasted great, but I was not fan of the flavor profile of my appetizer. We did a three course menu, and I was very hungry afterward. Portions do tend to be small at higher end restaurants, so this was expected, but nothing on any of my dishes was filling. The appetizer had lobster advertised, but it was enough for a garnish. My main course was not filling at all, but it was very delicious. The dessert was also very good. I just cannot justify going to a more expensive restaurant that isn't filling after three courses. I don't think that I would go back.
