Old fashioned ice cream parlor. Great service. Beautiful interior.

Base solely on the ice cream, candy selections for my son and atmosphere I give it a 5 ⭐️. But there is something very unusual about the service very disengageing it’s almost like we’re inconvenienceing them when we come in. The crazy part is I believe the lady is the owner and her children? Very strange to say the least.

Came here late Saturday night and there were a decent number of people in here. Very cute, old-fashioned ice cream parlor that has a lot of interesting antiques to look at.
Yelp check in allowed us to get one free sundae each WHICH IS HUGE. Can definitely share with two people or enjoy all on your own! Service is quick and very kind. Ice cream is delicious--I got coffee ice cream with Oreos, fresh hot fudge, and whipped cream--they did a great job with it. The fudge is scrumptious and not artificial tasting at all.
Also, free parking in their lot behind the ice cream parlor with AWESOME ice cream themed murals--these belong in a Museum of Ice Cream.

Quality frozen treats for hot summer days in the Strip. I like to park on the street near Klavon's (it's free) and walk down to the shops. That way I can swing through and grab some ice cream before heading home.

I really want to give this charming ice cream shop more than 2 stars, but I cannot. I like the location (right down from all the main shops of the Strip district), and I like their ice cream and dessert options. Love the old time feel inside, wooden booths - it is neat! But I have been here 3 times over the last few years and all the visits included very SLOW service, overpriced ice cream and disengaged employees. I can get over the high prices, but I hate going into restaurants and feeling like the employees don't want me there. And that has been the vibe for three visits to this establishment, so I won't be back.

Wonderful little joint! Unique offerings and well priced treats, this is a great place to relax after dinner and enjoy a nostalgic dessert. It is certainly small, and I can see during busier times having to wait awhile, so be sure to show up with patience. Try this little gem!

Can't and won't complain about the atmosphere It's been the same for longer than I could remember But I just paid $8.00 for a 16oz. Solo cup mostly filled with a vanilla milkshake That's the most I have ever paid for a milkshake And #2 isn't even close This place used to be affordable. I'll pass on this going forward.

SO much potential for this old fashioned ice cream parlor. I brought my 2 daughters and grandson here for one of my daughters birthday. Very cool old vintage like building with old world charm and character however when you walk through the doors not one person said hello, no eye contact or welcoming vibes at all. I had to ask if we sit down to order or order at the register? I was told 'either way' so we sat down to a very dirty booth. I had to ask if it could be wiped. The young lady had no sense of urgency or not pologetic, enthused .. nothing! They weren't busy at all so I'm not sure why the booths were dirty? The 3 employees were on their cell phone when we walked in. Not one smile from any employee. So sad because this place could be AMAZING! The portions were generous, ice cream good. The place is old fashioned and could be really neat! I've been in guest care for over 20 years and this place is lacking just that QUALITY GUEST CARE!

Showed up and it was unusually quiet for a Friday, a few mins later, it was packed with a long line and bewildered servers. Our banana split took a bit longer to arrive than we thought it should, but it just gave us time to explore the mini-museum of drug store artifacts from a bygone era. And the ice cream was well worth the wait.

Solid ice cream and candy store! They have great ambiance, helpful staff, and excellent floats, sundaes, cones, and a lot more. I will definitely be returning.

Old fashioned ice cream parlor with mismatched decor and average ice cream! I understand wanting to give the impression of an old nostalgic parlor but, some upgrades are desperately needed. Ice cream is ok but, not exceptional. Try Hershey's ice cream down in the Station Square to be impressed!

A very nice atmosphere with good ice cream. I live in the area and drive past frequently and finally went in tonight and it was larger than I expected with lots of seating space. They also serve soup and paninis made with fresh bread from Mancini, another Strip District shop a bit further down Penn.
I only had a split so I can't speak for the sandwiches, but the ice cream was very enjoyable, and the interior, which is apparently nearly the same as it was in 1920 when it was a pharmacy, is very fun. Even if you don't like ice cream, you can always go in and grab a coffee and appreciate the history of the place.response / report this review -

Pretty much everything you hoped for in a vintage ice cream parlor and soda fountain and more. The service is super friendly (they give giant ice cream samples too) and the homemade ice cream is arguably the best in the city. The sweet potato ice cream and Italian soda were both fantastic.
