I love the Oakmont Bakery. They usually have quick service even when it's packed. The reason that it's often packed is simply that the quality, variety, and flavor of Oakmont Bakery's food/deserts is excellent. Try it out for yourself.

OMG. What can I say, you will love anything you buy here. I haven't found anything that I didn't like yet( and I tried a lot). Almond torte is out of this world. New York cinnamon is yummy. Cupcakes are great. Always expect long lines when you go there.

This place has gotten to be very "hum-drum" lately. Most of the workers seem so miserable. I frequent this bakery for work and it's very close to us so I'm in here a lot. My experience this week left me feeling like I wanted to slap the attitude out of two of their workers. I understand if you hate your job but don't pass your bad mood on to the customers. This morning the guy helping me was literally slamming the boxes and breathing heavily because he was angry at something before I got there. So very unprofessional.

Edit: 11/9/17 - I received call from a manager today to say they were sorry to hear about my last experience. I appreciate this effort and wanted to update my review to state this fact. It makes me feel better knowing they read our reviews and will address them as needed.

Huge variety, friendly service and everything is so tasty! I've visited numerous times and I've never had a bad experience. The wait can take some time if they are busy, but they handle it well with a number system. I could easily spend my whole paycheck there and I wouldn't even regret it.

I haven't had anything on the menu that I haven't liked. My family often orders from Oakmont Bakery if they need cakes, cookies, or any other baked goods if they're having a party, large or small. We've never seen a wrong order. The staff has always been friendly in my experience. The prices are very fair. Depending on what time you get there it may be a long line; however, they usually have enough people working so that the line goes quickly. With proper ID they do give out military discounts.

Stopped by Oakmont Bakery today to try out their Pepperoni Bread. This is a very well stocked bakery with a wide variety of baked goods. Very crowded while there, but I guess that is to be expected at a bakery in the morning. The pepperoni bread has a nice flavor and weight. Prices are reasonable. I recommend a visit if you happen to be in the area.

This place is LEGENDARY!!! Certainly lives up to it's name. In the greater Pittsburgh region right along the Allegheny river in Oakmont. The service is spectacular even during rushes, the workers are fantastic and seem to love their jobs. The MTO food is also spectacular, wedding cakes, desserts you name it! Awesome awesome awesome I absolutely love this place.

I made a same day phone order for two-dozen cookies, in a style that was no longer made. The staff happily took my order and said they could be ready in 3 1/2 hours! When I arrived to pick them up, they were fabulously crafted and packaged beautifully. The "Sweet Line" is very efficient and when the cashier stepped away to pick up my order, another staff member asked me if I had been helped. The store itself is very clean and welcoming. To top it all off, the cookies were delicious! I will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Delicious!!! We recently used Oakmont Bakery for our wedding and were very pleased. We did a smaller main wedding cake and had 8 of their dessert cakes and people loved the selection!!! The cookies were amazing as well! It truly was an overall wonderful experience, from first planning our wedding cake design, to the tasting, to seeing the beautifully elegant finished product!

If you love sweets, you must go here. They do a deli-style number system that makes waits very short, even when it's busy. They have everything from cakes and cookies to donuts and sandwiches. Even though it's a local bakery in a nice area, prices are very reasonable and they always have a lot of employees on hand to ensure everyone gets the help and assistance they desire. Arguably the best bakery in or around Pittsburgh.

Only gave it 5 stars because that's all I can give. They make a huge variety of baked goods and everything is very good except for the wait. No such thing as a quick trip especially on the weekends. Prices are a bit more than the average bakery but I've never had a less than 5 star eating experience.
