  One of my favorite Wichita gems! If you drink coffee or tea, cook or create fine cuisine make it a point to stop by. I also find my favorite intense and the best non-hallmark greeting cards here. If you are looking for something whimsical, again this is a great place. Hands down one of my favorite places to shop and the chocolates are amazing.

  This is the absolute, best place in Wichita, to get coffee beans, spices, herbs, teas and trinkets.
  They have roast masters and tea specialists to help job find the perfect coffee or tea for you!
  
  I personally love the Organice Breakfast. Jamaican me crazy is their most popular flavored blend. You can also find all the supplies needed to make the perfect coffee at home, in addition to buying beans. I have a French press and grinder, so I buy whole beans. I also have an espresso machine and let them grind it down for me, so I know it’s perfect.
  
  Be sure to utilize the coffee or tea punch card! I recently redeemed my first free pound of coffee beans!!
  
  I buy all my spices here. They offer the cheapest and best quality - on top of the huge variety. Something for every tastebud!
  
  Best part of all, they are a locally run company.

  The Spice Merchant is the best place to purchase freshly-roasted, whole bean coffee that I've ever encountered across six different states. I'm known to be fairly picky about my coffee, but am blown away by the quality of the Spice Merchant, their beans, and their roasting process. They have beans from every region imaginable, different levels of roasting, and the quality and freshness is apparent in every grind and cup.
  
  It's also just a uniquely fun experience visiting their location, perusing all their different trinkets and gifts, browsing through the spice and tea aisles (each of those equally as impressive as their coffee selection--I just happen to be a coffee nut), and leaving with little deserts or snacks.
  
  The Spice Merchant isn't just a hidden gem, it's truly one of the best resources in the region, and something that should make Wichita proud (and frankly, should help put Wichita on the map). I'm so thankful it exists, and love visiting and stocking up every time I come back to Wichita to visit. If I can't make it to Wichita when I need to, I'll order online or have friends pick me up what I need. Their online ordering system makes it a breeze for anyone anywhere to get the same freshly-roasted, high quality beans that you'd purchase in-store.

  This store is amazing! If you love coffee, they've got it. If you love tea, there is an entire room for that. And the spice section is amazing! This place is a must stop and shop when in Wichita.

  Fun place to visit. Amazing selection of coffee which they roast on the premises. Tea room is a feast for the eyes as well as the biggest selection of teas on the planet. Spice selection second to none. Great selection of gifts and snacks from abroad. Love this place.

  This place is so much fun to just walk into. There are so many good smells and you could easily kill some time to just look around. I'm not a fan of coffee, but there's more than just that here. There are spices, spice containers, kitchen gadgets, and much more. There is a whole room just for teas and tea items. It's a great place!

  This place is truly a Wichita gem! They have a large selection of coffees, and an even larger selection of tea in their dedicated tea room. They also offer various kitchen utensils and gadgets. Of course they couldn't be called the Spice Merchant without those as well, and they do not disappoint. Dry spices, sauces, seasonings, mixes, and even jams and syrups, this place has a little bit of everything!

  I came for the spice for a stayed for the tea! Great selection of teas. My group of friends had an Asian-themed dinner party and we got our teas from here and the staff gives you instructions on how to properly brew each type of tea. The teas are a great price when you consider 1 oz of tea leaves make a gallon to drink.

  This is one of my favorite shops in Wichita! The tea here is delicious, as well their chocolates. You can also find all sorts of cooking goods here, such as cooking utensils and aprons. The associates are very friendly and helpful as well.

  The aroma of this place is amazing! I think I got a little jolt just from it alone. I purchased the Apricot Brandy Tea and Almond Ameretto Tea. I enjoy both, but I prefer the Apricot Brandy more. A little taste of heaven in a cup. I will visit this place frequently in the future. I must try the coffee next and take advantage of the torani syrup collection.

  I am not exactly a coffee or spice nut, but I do love a good cup of java on occasion and I do have a spice rack at home. As to the coffee and tea, their selection is enormous and you can certainly get both a smell and a taste (they always have a sample brewed up for you to try) and the staff are very friendly. They have more spices than I think I'd ever need, and their selection of relishes, jams and preserves is absolutely phenomenal. There's always something delicious hiding in the shelves (I recommend the Sweet Fire Relish if there is any on the shelf) and it's good to be able to peruse.

  Located in the historic Mentholatum building it's architecture is incredibly unique to the area. Wichita's original coffee roaster with excellent custom roasted coffees (be sure to get your coffee card punched) and a huge selection of hard to find imported food goodies and spices. There is a great variety of coffee mugs and down home goodness to be found here. Tourists are sure to find the kitchy, quirky Kansas themed merchandise, from greeting cards to tea towels, ready to go home with them.

  I have only been here once (so far), but I cannot wait to go again. Their teas are the best and their coffee even better. They have a variety of stuff in their store that are a lot less cost wise than you would expect for a store of that type. Last and most important that not only do their employees know what their doing they are the most friendly to their customers than I have ever been treated. Cant wait to go back for more coffee and tea.

  Staff is great, wide variety of products, only beef is they need to live up to their promises when they offer incentives for pledges to KMUW. Offering a free pound of coffee each month for a year in exchange for a sizeable donation, then shorting the contributor several months of coffee is not right nor fair.

  Best specialty foods, spices, coffee and tea store. Kitchen goods and so much more. After going there for 30 years, I'm always amazed at how well they've reinvented themselves well. It's my favorite store.

  The spice merchant has an amazing selection of teas and fully rosted coffee. They have a plethora of spices, sauces, cooking accessories, dip mixes, and much much more. Extremely knowledgable staff, and an amazing owner. You can find something for everyone here. This place is always busy, and is wall to wall packed during the holidays.

  I could spend hours here looking at all the fun items they get in.
  It is a weekly shopping stop for espresso, tea and Chai mix.
  Fresh roasted and ground coffee, really makes a difference. Their tea section has a wonderful selection.

  The owner is a generous & friendly gentleman. His staff are polite & friendly. The quality of the spices, herbs, coffee, tea, and other varied food products are the best quality to be found in Wichita & easily compete with high-quality online sites. The store has been in place for years & has maintained its quality for the many years I have shopped there. Anytime locals need something that can be found within the walls of the Spice Merchant, it is always the go-to location because you never have to doubt what you will get.
