Unfortunately my experience is a lot different from the reviews posted about Special Occasions. I understand management is changing over for the store as of right now. A few months back when I ordered one of the bridesmaid's dresses, the lady ordered the wrong color of the dress and if it was not for me looking at the receipt, we would have been worse off. I picked this last bridesmaid dress for my wedding for one of the girls in my party. Upon looking at the dress, I thought it looked bigger. Had my bridesmaid try on the dress and it was way too big. To my surprise , the tag said size 6!! My receipt says size 4!!!! This is ridiculous. As an establishment that provides to weddings - there is hardly room for details to be overlooked. Maybe with management changing the shop will not have these same issues.

I could not be more pleased. The ladies at the shop were so nice, professional, and accomodating. The experience was first class. The dresses were gorgeous and they were priced right. They could order anything that we wanted. They followed up with phone calls and really kept us on track, Thank goodness! I did not have to stress about the wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, or tuxes. I would highly recommend!!! Thanks Julie and Sharon!

This dress shop is fantastic. Alterations are done in house, which is a big plus. The women are so friendly and helpful, I must have been to the shop about a half a dozen times before I ordered my wedding dress. I had tried on my dress at one of the expensive boutiques in the area, who were trying to charge me several hundred dollars more for the dress off the rack because they said it wouldn't be in in time for my wedding that was 5 months out. The girls at Special Occasions were able to verify that it would be in on time and did all alterations in house. I was so nervous about my dress since I tried it on 2 sizes too small and was unsure how it would lay. They made sure the dress laid just right and fit exactly the way I imagined it would.

I would highly recommend that if you find a dress somewhere else that you like, order it from them. They are much better priced and include alterations! You will not be disappointed.
