  Speak is a beautiful salon--cozy and adorably decorated. I've gotten my hair cut and styled by Julie for many years. She is wonderful, down-to-earth, and very talented. Plus, she always has good styling tips that are easy to do for those of us who don't know what to do with our hair! Also, her online appointment booking system is so convenient, and the best one I've ever used. Thank you, Julie!

  I did not enjoy my experience at Speak. It is not advertised, but the business is a front for a liberal agenda and differing opinions are not welcome. In fact, they asked me to leave with an incomplete haircut when I told them I did not agree with their beliefs. I will not return.
  
  Additionally, beware of their reaction to negative reviews (see posted photos).

  Speak is a hidden gem in the Crossroads. A soft, urban, hip vibe welcomes you at the door. I leave happy with my short cut every time. Speak is an easy salon to highly recommend!

  I'm sure reviewer "Colin" managed to acquire an "incomplete haircut" because his Donald Trump bigoted views weren't applauded when he went into a salon that didn't accommodate his tea bagging ways. I can only hope that he someday finds the complete hairKKKut he needs somewhere else in the Bible Belt.
  
  As for Speak itself, they are fantastic!

  Not too pricey, scheduling can all be done online, reserved parking in the back. They always have fantastic coffee while you wait. Sometimes they even have a box of wine in the fridge and/or donuts Amazing.
