I have been looking for a Barber Shop for the past two years. Use to get my haircut just anywhere but after today I have found my spot. Paloma is super awesome. She was more then focused on getting my hair perfect and took her time. She is also super awesome to talk to. I normally don’t do reviews but Chop Tops and Paloma deserve a 5 star from me!

Go see Paloma she knows how to make you look great. Even if you're not into the trendy, hip vibe, just go for nice people and a really good haircut. I let them pamper me with the whole hot towel shebang and have no regrets.

Good place to get your hair cut. Has a vintage rockabilly vibe. They'll give you a beer (PBR) to drink while you wait for your turn.

Came in here to get a quick cut as I didn't have time to do so before flying down to KC for a friend's wedding. I love everything about the place, the people were super friendly, the decor was awesome, the products were great products, and my stylist did an awesome job. I told my girlfriend I'd move to KC just to get my hair cut at this place all the time.

Quality joint. The stylists are amiable and give a good haircut. Cool atmosphere, and you get a free beverage with each trip. I'll be back in the future.

I've been coming here for the past 5-6 years. The first couple times I went with whomever they paired me with. But then I Crystal did my hair and I've never looked back. I have a lot of hair and she always knows what to do with it. Over the years I've met everyone else and they always say hello even when I see them out and about. If you haven't dropped by what's stopping you?!

PS: They will offer you water, coffee or a beer if you're Old enough whilst you wait.

Got a haircut and beard trim with Shelby and have had about 3 billion compliments. Will definitely go back to her time and time again. Top it all off with a prehaircut drink and is a perfect day.

Wonderful customer service! Staff is very friendly and owner, Jim is a great guy! Jessi is my girl, she cut my hair very well which is crazy cause I'm so picky! Been looking for a solid hairstylist and shop since I've moved back to KC a year ago! Price is worth the friendly staff and amazing job Jessi did for me! I found my place and I'll definitely be returning in the future permanently!

Went in for the very first time on Monday and my cut was awful. When I called to let the staff know, they were kind and courteous and booked me a fix-it appointment for the next day. The lady who fixed me, Katelyn, was quick and knowledgeable and very helpful. I appreciate their willingness to work with me. Very friendly and funky.

Easily the best haircut spot in town. Complimentary beer while you wait, they waste no time giving you a professional looking haircut and they do hot towel neck shaves at the end which feels amazing like seriously, I couldn't believe how good that felt. Perhaps the only downside is it's a little pricey, but I think it's worth the cost. I'm looking forward to going back.

I saw a friend with a great new haircut and asked where she got it. She in turn had seen a business colleague and asked where she had her haircut. Jenny D at Chop Tops! I made an appointment and was able to get in within a few days/week. Jenny took lots of time with me to understand what I wanted and provided a really great cut. Loved the environment, music, and they even offered me a drink of choice, including beer or wine. Great place!
