If you’re looking for some relaxation time, head to this spa. We had a couples massage this weekend and it was fantastic. We get a couples massage about once a year at different spas in our area, but this was by far the best. The entire staff was welcoming and professional. We left feeling invigorated.

We had a couples massage this past weekend and it was great! I had Mia and she was very friendly and did a great job, i felt wonderful. The entire staff was courteous and made us feel welcomed. The next time we are in Door County we will be back!

Careful will cancel your appointment without warning!!! When I called to book a massage I told Diane I was 9 weeks pregnant. She required me to have my OB email her a letter of consent. Diane emailed me at 3:30am telling me she received the email from my Doctor and asked me to confirm my appt. At 5:15am she emailed me to tell me since I hadn't confirmed!!! When I called the spa I learned that one of her other masseuses had to go to the emergency room so I my doctor emailing her wasn't confirmation enough or maybe it was just more convenient to bump me out of my appointment???

My husband and I had a couples massage on our honeymoon and it was wonderful! The massage therapists were professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and friendly. We definitely recommend this!

My wife and I did a couple's massage and thought the staff was friendly, the environment was relaxing, and the massages were good. We would go back, but this definitely was not a 'spa' since there were no amenities (no locker rooms, no sauna, no hot tub, etc).

My boyfriend and I visited Door County for our 5 year anniversary and decided to get a 1 hour couples massage at The Spa at Sacred Grounds. So for starters, it was hard to find. When we pulled in, we were welcomed by a dumpy abandoned building. We really thought it was a scam. After walking around a bit we finally found the spa tucked away in the woods. The place itself is beautiful. Perfect décor and atmosphere for a spa. However, our welcome was not super warm from the lady at the front desk. No "Hi" or "Hello" it was just "Do you have an appointment?". I live customer service and she just wasn't up to par on that part. Our massages were amazing. We had Karen and Joy. They both did wonderful. Again, great atmosphere, very relaxing. We go back to the desk to pay, she runs our card, and then asks if we want to tip. Well of course we do. I assumed that just like anywhere else you can just add a tip to your card. Nope. (This would have been a helpful tid-bit of information when I made the appointment. We are people who do not carry cash on us. It is posted at the front desk but on a very small notice in very small font.) We were told tips were only accepted in cash and that there's an ATM across the street. Again, said in a not so friendly manner from the front desk lady. After getting a little flustered about that because we would have to pay 2 separate ATM fees being as it wasn't our bank, she finally offered to run our card again for the tip. Overall it was a great experience but I am only giving 4 stars because the customer service was just not up to par from the front desk.

I have mixed views about this spa! The owner is not friendly. My husband and I come here every time we are in the Door. Several years ago, when we arrived with four friends, she proceeded to take our money for services but when our massages were done she proceeded to rush us out the door because she was holding a company wide meeting. Another year the owner messed up my appointment. I was ready to walk out the door and never return; but the massage therapist really took control and helped take care of me. Wow, for a spa it seems the owner sends nothing but negative energy outward. I only go for the outdoor hut and for the amazing deep tissue therapists.
