It was a nice place with some neat features like a golf simulator room. But it's closed now and may stay that way. When it opened there weren't many things around it and it was more special. But by the time it closed a few weeks ago it had slipped a little.

It would be nice to see it revived or put to some other use, but it will take some creative vision and a lot of money to make that happen.

The hotel is okay (the rooms seem really old and the bathrooms aren’t the best); however they charged me an additional pet fee wrongfully to my credit card. I called and told them. The lady at the front desk was nice, but told me I would have to talk to the manager. She transferred me to the managers voicemail and I explained my situation and asked for him to call me when he was in the office. I haven’t heard from anyone since, and it’s been a week. I have tried calling back multiple times and every time there is no answer. I will not be staying with them again in the future - poor management.

My Husband and I attended the 2018 Military & Veterans Winter Ball at the Oconomowoc location. The staff were all amazing. From front desk receptionists, bartenders to kitchen staff. Very caring and kind. Beautiful Hotel. The banquet dinner was excellent. Only issue was the ATM was out of order during this very large event. Overall though, wonderful experience.

The check in process Horrible! The front desk staff needs training. However, Aaron the outlet manager was the damn BOMB! Benji the night club bartender was AWESOME as well. Along with Mrs. P from Rick's and the SPA staff saved our weekend. At the end of the day all these people made my weekend Awesome. The rooms and the resort is very dated. The owner needs to put some money in remodeling and updating the place it's so big and could be the place to go to relax and have fun with your girls or lover.

If there was a way to leave a worse rating I would. We were in town for a wedding and had a room reserved as part of the wedding block. Our room was supposed to be ready by 3. They told us it would be 20 a minute wait. After an hour and a half we still didn't have our room and were late to the wedding. The most frustrating part was me overhearing 2 employees who may have been managers see there was an issue and say "I wonder what's going on there? Let's walk away so we don't have to deal with it." I will never go back

Went for a wedding. This is definitely a resort because it has everything you would need not to leave the compound. Bar, restaurant, pool, etc. It was a little like a maze getting around, but the rooms were nice. Main complaint was that the wedding was 150+ strong and at 4pm. The resort was providing transportation to the ceremony and my room was not ready in time for the bus. I ended up checking in, intoxicated, at 12am. A heavy oversight if you ask me, being that a large chuck of rooms were reserved for this wedding. The location is nice, a bit dark and dated, but nice.

This hotel is not the most updated, but for the price I was not expecting perfection. Newer hotels in the area were twice as much per night! My big draw was the outdoor pool area and it didn't disappoint. It was clean and spacious with a snack bar steps away. I was happy with my stay!

Rooms were not top quality but they still were not bad. Felt like a maze at first. Maybe it's best to leave where the rooms are a little better. But the bar was a great time, The restaurant had a fantastic buffet for a hotel and overall it was a great hotel. We had our yellow ribbon event prior to our deployment. The conference hall was nice and the catered lunch was delicious.

The beds are comfortable, rooms are relatively clean, the facilities are nonsmoking so the rooms smell great, not at all musty, and the staff is courteous. But the facilities are also dated. With renovations I'd give it a higher rating.

Like stepping back in time - an old-school resort for a more relaxed stay. But they still offered any modern amenity we could want. And the poolside bar was top notch.

Building was old and run down but clean.Rooms were decent size. Staff was very nice. Pool was great but not enough loungers. Outside bar needed more staff.

My friend was getting married so she rented a suite (basically two adjoining rooms with the door off). It was rented so the bride and bridesmaids could get ready before taking the hotel shuttle (rusty passenger van that took 20 minutes for the air to kick on) to the reception hall. When driving up to the front of the hotel it appeared dated and the grounds had basic care (grass cut but weeds in the gardens). When entering the hotel the reception desk is on the right side of the large open space. Staff greeted me and was very friendly. While walking to the room I past the restaurant, outside and inside pools. Pools looked nice but I wasn't there to swim. The 2 room suite was dated and dirty. One of the girls was barefoot for about 3hour in the room being ready and her feet were so dirty when we went to leave she had to wash them first. The lights were dim in the bathroom area making it hard to put on makeup. There are outlets on the walls but the lamps still have internet Jack's instead of USB ports to charge your phone. This hotel is in need of updating.

I attended a wedding at Olympia Resort in June. There was a conference being held there at the same time. Neither event seemed to interfere with the other. The space was large and there was ample parking. Catering was great- our meal was a strawberry salad (amazing) and then skirt steak with green beans, which was flavorful and not overcooked.
