My daughter and I did the 10pm tour with Graham. The tour was awesome and exciting. Graham was a great guide and very informative. He gave out group enough time to explore and ask any question we had. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone in the Savannah area

They do really cool tours here and you can tell that everyone that works there genuinely cares about the house and its history. The late night ghost hunt is fun even if you are a non-believer.

We did the 9:00 ghost tour of the Sorrel Weed House and boy, was it spooky! Because of COVID, we only had four total on our tour (plus our guide) which made it even spookier. The tour includes going through the front doors, three rooms on the main floor, multiple rooms in the basement, the carriage house, and the square it sits on. Our guide was great and had an iPad to show us photos and videos that other guests had seen/experienced. The house definitely has a haunted feel to it and I would not want to be there alone!

We took the 8pm tour and had a great time. Our guide was Jamie (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly). She was enthusiastic, informative and genuinely seemed to like her job. I definitely recommend the tour at night. I won't say what I experienced in the house because I don't want to ruin it for anyone but if you're on the fence about taking the tour, just do it!

We had a great time doing this tour! Our tour guide was extremely informative and really knew her stuff. Definitely worth doing, and all the proceeds go into fixing the house and continue with its upkeep, which makes it even more worth it for me since we need to conserve our history as much as possible.

This tour was so amazing! Madison was our tour guide and she did such an amazing job at telling us the history of the house, making it fun and still very scary! You could tell she really knew what she wa talking about and loved her job!Would highly recommend taking this tour!

We really enjoyed our very brief tour (25 minutes) which basically included a couple of rooms and a couple of ghost stories. The price was great - only $8 per person when included with our ghost tour (provided by Old Savannah Tours). My only complaint and the reason for four stars instead of five is that it would have been a better tour if we had been allowed to explore on our own a little bit.

We decided to do the overnight paranormal investigation at the last minute. Our host was very knowledgeable and provided equipment to those that didn't have any. We got several responses on our SB7 spirit box. We also heard audible whispers and saw an object move. The history, story and environment are worth it by themselves. A must stop in Savannah for ghost hunters.

We only visited from the outside as it was part of a ghost tour on the evening. The history behind the story was great. I loved the house is now a historical society marker. We didn't take an overall tour of the house probably because the ghost tour history makes you question if you really want to enter the house or not.

my mom and i were passing through and decided to stop here to have some fun. It was cool at first till we made our way to the third room with the second mirror.. my mom was next to me and another lady on the other side a little ways from me when the next thing i know is i feel like someone playing and pulled my hair it was so quick i figured it was my mom so i wouldn’t freak out until my mom mention my hair completely tangled. Before we were leaving the room i could have sworn to have seen a figure run across the room.. then felt as if hairs were touching my cheek but their wasn’t any when i went to move it. was definitely freaking out when having to go downstairs especially when he told us about when a ghost touches you you’ll feel electricity, heat or like you walk through cobwebs.. i definitely wanted to leave then! BUT i made it through the story’s of the house was so interesting and definitely worth your money!!!!

I went here back in December 2016 with my boyfriend and it was the coolest tour let alone best ghost tour I've ever been to. I raved about it so much my family wanted to experience it for themselves! Unfortunately this experience was nothing like before. Our tour guide Kelsey talked very fast and didn't go into detail as our previous tour guide did. I had to tell my family more details! For the money I felt bad my family didn't get the experience like I once had. Unfortunately I have to say, check to see who your guide is before you go.

This was the third time my family has taken this tour. I am afraid this tour last week will be our last. The tour guide seemed very new and didn't know much about the history of the house. The tour is also under new management, so this could also be the reason for our guide not being able to give as much information as we had in our previous tours. So much has been changed in both the main house and the carriage house that for our family it has taken away from our experence. Due to weather I'm afraid we was not able to do the walking part of our tourwhich everyone on the tour was told we would be fully refundedThis I'm afraid was not to be the case as after having to call the ask why our refund had not been placed we was told we would only be refunded for the walking part of our tour. We paid $30 a ticket. We was told the walking part refund would be $8. Not even 1/3 of the ticket price. At least would have been happy with a 1/2 refund as we missed 1/2 of the tour being the walking part. This added in with the changes to everything else had left us lacking the desire to return to a tour that had become one of our must do before leaving Savannah.

Last minute decision to take this $20/person tour. It lasted about an hour, but that was stretching it. Kelsey was the young tour guide and she spoke too fast as if she was nervous. The house is old for sure and in need of renovating and it has obviously sat in this half-way renovated stage for purposes of a ghostly atmosphere. The 3rd floor was closed off (no fun), and many of the windows were covered with blackout curtains (another ghostly affect I presume). The house is cool, but not much happened here really. No story to tell. As part of the tour, Kelsey spent much of the time showing everyone pictures from her cell phone of other people's photos with shadows of "paranormal" figures dressed in antebellum outfits. Seemed hokey. Lots of red lightbulbs in the rooms, and cameras. The house is huge but you don't get to see all the rooms. Disappointing. Not worth $20.

Took the evening ghost tour. It was ok. The history portion was much more interesting than the "ghost" aspect. Our tour guide seemed new or nervous. No entry to 3rd floor. Group was a bit too large and it was hard to hear the guide at times. But overall, still interesting. Seems they are still working to restore parts of the house.

I have taken at least a half dozen ghost tours in Savannah while I was living there. This is one of the best. You have a choice of touring just the house itself or the house as well as the neighborhood. The neighborhood tour takes in some key sites and takes about an hour to walk. The guides are knowledgeable and interesting. Most of them are approachable for questions or even to talk about your own experiences. The price between the house tour and the walk in addition to the house tour is about $5.00 and is well worth it. The most interesting part of the house portion of the tour is the EVP that the crew from TAPS captured in Molly's room. This is the most vivid EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) I have ever heard recorded. Also, there has been known to be significant activity downstairs in the basement of the house. People who were on tour with me captured ghostly photographs. You can see some examples of images that people have captured in the past on tour on the tour website.

If you have seen the movie "Gettysburg" or toured the battlefield itself, you will want to see this house. This was the home of General Moxley Sorrel, who served with General James Longstreet in the Confederate Army at the Battle of Gettysburg. He was also depicted in the movie.

At the beginning of the house tour, they will show a brief and informative video about the house. This video shows examples of other paranormal investigators with TV shows coming through the house and what they found. The guide will then hand out EMF meters, show you how they work, and let you walk around the house with them so you can see what you can find while you walk through. The hot-spots are down in the basement and in Molly's room in the carriage house.

A lot of the ghost tours in town are purely for entertainment purposes. This one is educational as well. This is one of the top three or four tour companies in town that I would recommend. They are one of the ones that at least try to keep it real.

My father and I went on the 9:30PM Ghost Hunters Night and Walking Tour on Aug 30 with Wesley as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional throughout the tour! We were accompanied by 2 other tourists, so 5 of us were walking around the house and city in total. Although none of us caught any photographic evidence or voice recordings, Wesley got pushed down the stairs in the Carriage House which thoroughly freaked us all out. My Bluetooth headset also randomly shut off in the middle of the tour, and when I got back to my hotwl room later that night, I realized the headset had ample battery left, so it was odd that the headset powered off while there; in Molly's room, nonetheless.

I enjoyed the house and night tour so much that I went back the next day by myself during the day time for a proper house tour. When I went back into the Carriage House, my tour guide and I heard a loud bang coming from upstairs when we were downstairs; we were also the only ones in the building although there were people in the main house.

Needless to say, I loved the house, and I will be back for the paranormal investigation in the future!

We took one of the haunted 9PM tours they offer now and thoroughly enjoyed our time! Our guide (Nick?) was very knowledgeable and gave us a great mixture of history and ghost stories. You could tell he had really studied and enjoyed giving this tour! Our tour group wasn't too large so we were able to hear and experience the tour better than on some other tours in the area. He also gave a little background history to the area beforehand about the squares and church across the street that really helped add to the tour. We enjoyed our time/money spent and would recommend the tour to others!
