Nice mall. Wish they had a bloomingdales..roots..ugg..Abercrombie kids..sanrio..hunter..woolrich.. store.. is what there missing. For sure. Other then that it's a nice mall. Gets way to crowded in the weekends. They also need to make there restrooms a little more visible with signs etc. Also more speciality dining areas for people with dietary restrictions.

Very nice mall to walk around. Large mall but gets really crowded. If the crowds are too big, you can go across the walk way to the other building with name brand stores like Coach and walk slowly with the elderly. Smaller than the other side but less people. This mall had plenty of options but definitely more expensive than other malls. Food is great but expensive. I had a bowl of mushroom barley soup that I couldn't find any where else but it cost $10 with a drink. Granted it was delicious and the only place I could find that soup. The food was made fresh so you get what you pay for at the mall. Long lines at the food court. They have a little lego store with attentive staff. Too many lazy people taking elevators instead of leaving room for the disabled and families with strollers. It can be a long wait for elevators.

A very clean, well maintained, and upscale mall. This is how malls should be. I don't know when it was last renovated, but the architecture, design, and furnishings are all very current. The only thing I would like to see is an play area for small children. However, our 1.5 year old did have a great time playing with the display Duplos at the Lego store. Santa's castle also looked very nice, we'll be back, if for no other reason, than to see Santa next year.

I remember playing on the dirt mounds watching this mall slowly being constructed. Here I am now, 20 or more years later, shopping here at least once per month.
Great venue, plenty to do, and a wonderful selection of stores and restaurants. I'm so happy this mall hasn't lost its shine, like most of the older traditional malls in the area.
You get a feeling of prestige, and the best time to visit is during the holidays. The decor is fantastic.response / report this review -

The mall is divided into two parts. one that everyone goes and the other is for kings and queens.

Large free parking area with easy in and out. They also have valet parking. Large, well kept mall with upscale stores. I took my granddaughter shopping there and she knows where all the stores are, so I can't comment on ease of finding stores. Because there are upscale stores, the prices are upscale too. Large food cut too.

The Somerset Collection is the best shopping that Michigan has to offer. It is a fine collection of the best high end shopping opportunities with world-class restaurants. I simply love the PF Chang's there. I rarely purchase anything there as the prices are pretty high; however, it is great to walk around and people watch. I have also had the opportunity to eat at Brio and California Pizza Kitchen, and every meal has been impressive. During the Christmas season, the mall is beautifully decorated. Tip: Godiva is now selling ice cream cones!

Huge mall with pretty much any store you could want in a mall. One side has pretty standard stores, the other has high end ones. The two sides are connected by a sky walk. Big food court with good options. Lots of parking. Close to several really good restaurants.

It's great for mall walking. I go early to avoid crowds but it usually isn't a big deal. The cleaning crew is friendly and not obtrusive to mall walkers. There are two Starbucks that open well before the mall does. It's also appealing visually. The building is much more impressive than most malls. Great place to get in a morning walk while catching up on a podcast or rocking some jams.

So pretty, lots of places to be. I don't recommend going here if you have a tight schedule, or plan to go to more than one store in less than a few hours. But, overall I recommend going here for a very fun day.

Love this mall because it's extravagant! It has different stores that not a lot of stores have. Plus, it has great food! Why not 5 stars then? Because for me, some of the stores are expensive. But to most, not so expensive. Check it out! This mall may be just for you too!

Yes it's a mall but there fun things to see all the stores at very up scale and they cater to their customers. I do not buy much there. But I do not buy much after all these I do not need much more stuff. I gave been a customer since it opened on the south side 50 years ago. The Tuscan Brio is one of my favorite restaurants because of the food.

Perfect Collection of a wide-range of all your shopping needs. The food court and any restaurant here is a 5 star experience. Imagine how lucky we are to have a Collection with covered and valet parking! There is a large array of price ranges; something for everyone. When I go to Somerset, I feel like I'm taking myself on a date. I get all excited and try to dress fashionable and feel so good about it! Born t shop and Somerset is the best experience!❤️

Most of the stuff here is the same overpriced junk you can find at other local malls for a better price, however they have specialty stores that you can shop local - Brooks Brothers, J Crew, Allen Edmonds (now in downtown Birmingham) and Janie and Jack to name a few.
The mall is also a nice place to walk and have a cup of coffee and people watch once in awhile.
