I should preface my review by stating that I'm not a great fan of malls in general & tend to direct my business towards locally establishments. However, that being said, I'm particularly NOT a fan of Briarwood Mall. It is ALWAYS CONGESTED, extremely poorly managed in my opinion, & offers a slim variety of stores that you would normally find in a city the size of Ann Arbor. It's definitely not a place that I go to browse for anything. If I visit the Mall it is for a specific purpose, normally to make an exchange/return for something I purchased online.
Was cut off by a maintenance employee in a company vehicle. The employee then proceeded to flip me off while yelling out the window at me as we both exited the parking lot. It felt pretty good knowing thats the treatment they give to mall shoppers. NOT
This is a fun mall with a clean and modern feel. There are also a nice mix of big stores like JCPenney and Macy's with smaller but popular ones like the Apple store. There's a decent food court with nice stand alone restaurants outside. It can be busy, but I've always been able to find parking.
My mom and I visited the mall specifically for the Apple Store. Upon entering the mall the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Since it's the holiday season there was holiday music playing and holiday decor everywhere. The mall itself isn't overly gigantic but there is a nice variety to suit different taste. The Apple store was busy as usual but our tech Brandon was phenomenal! Overal our experience at the mall was great and we'll definitely return soon!
Attentive and helpful staff, I had a great shopping experience and would recommend it any day. They have both high ends and low ends which is pocket friendly.
The environment is clean and I love the added advantage of a playing ground for the kids.
I made a special trip just to shop at Von Maur Department Store. It is so elegant and the sales personnel tend to your every need..prices are comparable to Macy's, Dollars, but you will not have to go searching for help. Everyone should visit at least once
I live almost an hour away, yet if I EVER go to Spencer's I go to the one in briarwood mall, fantastic, friendly staff. They're always so attentive and helpful during my shopping experiences. Love this store and the people who work there!!!
consistently a great mall. Has survived a long time because they create a safe family environment. Always clean and good selection of stores/ restaurants.
Great mall with a wide selection of stores big and small. Perfect for serious or novelty shopping. Typical food court options are slim, but instead several decent restaurants are always available in the mall or surrounding it. Holiday events are reliable and fun. Few entertainment options, though. So come here for food, shopping, or a little pampering with standard mall-quality salon, spa and massage options.
Mall is average at best. Not dirty or anything like that. Just small and feels old. It's the only mall within 20 miles though so not much of a choice
Plenty of parking! Loaded with great places to shop. Though, I mainly went for training at the Firestone.
Nice chill mall a little bit of everything to choose from inside. If you have small kids you gotta check out the play area, this will give you and the little ones a nice break.
I go here whenever I have the time. No matter what time of day Briarwood is a lively plaza filled with stores you love. Going to each store literally feels like a separate place on its own minus the travel. The overall vibe is comfortable and the stores' services are individually suited to that environment. I can honestly say, that I've never felt out of place and that each time I go I have a blast.
I am not a mall shopper, to expensive for me. But this is a very nice friendly place. Lots of stores, awesome restaurants and a great place to come on those cold winter days to walk and meet friends. Not to many indoor shopping places any more. Safe and great parking and easy to get to. Ann Arbor seems to be a great area.
