Great for the price! Loved our room, especially the view and the porch. The pool and hot tub were nice too. Good place for a family with young children.
Snyder ' s was a perfect little getaway. Our King Suite had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Walking distance to town, parks, marina, beaches, and the pier and lighthouse. Perfect location.
A mom-and-pop motel overlooking Lake Michigan. Our room waa a bit worn, but it was quiet and comfortable, and the heater/A.C. was quiet and in working order. A decent dorm- size fridge for fisherpeople and foodies. For us the best part of our brief stay was the view of Ludington's lighthouse and Lake Michigan -- fun to watch the car ferry and the people walking out to the lighthouse. Very close to two city parks, the beach and a very nicely appointed playground.
very quaint and adorable. the rooms are small but the location is worth dealing with the room size. We stay the weekend every year during the Triathelon.
Loved staying here. Could see the Ludington Lighthouse, beach and SS Badger from our room's deck. Clean room, hot water, friendly staff and adequate continental breakfast. We will be back!
The amenities are not as advertised on the website. Call the hotel before booking a room. The clerk stated that they have been trying to get the website changed for years but they do not own the domain and have had no success with them. The property is old and the cleanliness is not their strong suit. It is on Lake Huron so one would expect to pay a premium for this. But we also expect the bare minimums to be a given in any reputable establishment.
Fantastic views rooms first date ppl are outstanding!
Quaint and romantic. Unique experience. Fairly priced
Looks nice. Heard there are decent people running it.
Great location to the beach and pier.
We had a quiet room which we attributed to it being a Wednesday night and sun setting at @9.
The rooms are outdated in style and furniture.
Coffee, microwave, frig, and ironing board were good conveniences. Bed was hard.
We booked this thinking we were getting a beach view room for $189 a night, instead, we got a room in the back with a great view of the parking lot and the pool. Granted the room was a two room "suite" but hardly what you would call "decorated". Basically bare walls, a tiny TV, and a couch. There was a so-so king bed as well.
The weird thing was about a 4 square foot platform inside the door that was about an 1 1/2" higher than the rest of the room, I bet I tripped or stumbled off that at least a dozen times.
We had originally booked for two nights but I wasn't going to pay over $400 (including taxes) for this room. We went down to the desk and complained and they canceled and refunded the second night. I have to give them credit for that.
