Cadillac Sands isn't the nicest place you can choose to stay at in my experience, if I'm being honest. Every time I've been there something is in the middle of some kind of repair, the pool area hurts your feet, the toilets and TVs are outdated by decades, and you can generally see the resort's age by looking just a little bit at it. HOWEVER, the staff has always been MONUMENTALLY accommodating to guests in my experience, they have given leaders of groups deals, and as long as you are respectful and act like an adult its a good time

It was awful, old, heat didn’t work, couldn’t get the TV to work. Barely any toilet paper and no extra in the bathroom. There were stains all over the carpet. Only two pillows for the bed and they were old pillows. The pillow cases had stains on them. Very outdated room, the only thing that is new is the TV and you couldn’t get that to work either. You can’t lock the door from the outside with the keys to the door. We won’t be back. This hotel definitely needs to be renovated for sure. We had a jacuzzi room and I didn’t want to use it in fear it wasn’t cleaned really well. The walls are paper thin. The plumbing is awful the toilet is so loud when you flush it. You can hear the next rooms jacuzzi when they are filling it up through the drains of the jacuzzi in our room.

An ok place to spend one night passing through the city. The view of the lake is very nice and the staff is kind and helpful. However, the building is very outdated, has minimal security, and it isn't the cleanest establishment (stains in carpet, rusty bathroom fixtures, etc.)

Needs a lot of work.
Mark, who is your host, is fantastic. Very helpful. Good guy.
The jacuzzi in our room.was clean and functional.
The resort is in dire straits. Rooms that are able to take guests are clean but the rates are totally unrealistic. WAY too much!
Quiet, because no one else is staying there. Maybe three other couples on the second night when we stayed. The lighting (or lack thereof) in the halls is disconcerting. It takes a while to get used to. Good location, great restaurants right across the street.
Friday entertainment is questionable. One person in the crowd but the guy kept on.
Put in a few hundred g's

I think this place could be a gold mine, if.1 better rooms, 2 staff that is trained, 3 focus on customers. Clean your windows, paint goes along way. Bartenders need training, I would hate to see them if they were busy. No one has a clue. It's sad to see a potential huge place treated this way.

Not a good place to stay at or work at. I recommend staying down the road at the days in where it's cheaper. If you see the kitchen that the food comes from nasty. Would not eat there. if you seen the cleaners we use that's not enough. Barely let us use bleach to clean because the owners ann and Wayne fox don't want there floods stained when they are already stained and nasty. Them rooms need deep clean which the bosses haven't done and been saying that they will be doing for months. Pool room walls are covered in mold. Pool gets cleaned once a week. Which is gross. Not a place I would ever work at again. I called the BBB

This place is discusting. Tiles in the shower were four different colores including mold. One was shedding pieces where they gathered in the tub. Needless to say we didn't feel safe to shower for fear the tiles would fall on us. Rusted plumbing, fixtures. Dirty floors. Multi colored patchwork of paint or primer on the walls. This was a lakeside room that you pay extra for. I can only real in discust at what the low priced rooms look like. If this is what they think you should pay to stay in, can you imagine what the back rooms like the kitchen must look like. The health department should get there right away. Wish I could give 0 stars.

This is the most disgusting hotel I've been to. The room condition was terrible, couldn't get my room key to work 90% of the time, blood stains on floor, blankets, towels and the matress itself and did i mention how SKETCHY this place was?! Dont count on their breakfast either, what a jokewould not recommend this to anyone, would rather have slept in my car.

We went to the bar, great place to go if you like terrible karaoke and not a very lively environment. It was pretty dead both times we tried it. At least the bartenders were nice.

Located on Cadillac'sWest end, 10 minutes from everything yet still out of the way enough to be quiet. Rooms are dated but well maintained with fridge, microwave, and never ending hot water. Nice e indoor pool. Child friendly. Right on Lake Cadillac and 5 minute walk to Lake Mitchell beaches. Half dozen restaurants within a few blocks- ranging from fast food to $40 a plate on the waterfront bistros. Staff doesn't bother you, some would say inattentive.. While I would say unobtrusive. Perfect.
