Very convenient location for the airport. The room was very comfortable and clean, and it's always nice to get a free breakfast. The exercise equipment is a little old, but it works and that's really what matters.
Room was good. Only spent a night for a layover for a flight out of Phoenix. They have a very convenient free shuttle to the airport. Also the complementary breakfast was a nice touch, definitely saved some time in the morning on the way to the airport.
Checking in went smoothly. Later on, someone was banging on our door so loudly I thought they were trying to break in. They were putting new room numbers on the door/wall. Then someone came by to say they needed to change the rules page on the inside of our door. No announcement, no notification. I wasn't dressed, and it was embarrassing. Then we had to stop at the front desk to get new room keys; we had no idea what room number we were changed to. Overall, Sleep Inn should have notified us that someone would be banging on our door, that construction and changes were underway. No communication. We should have been given a discount because we were scared out of our wits when someone started banging on the door with no notification.
I am giving the Sleep Inn Five stars because of the transformation and effort the owners are making. At the hotel. They have replaced the queen beds to king beds, added lamps with plugs next to the bed. I travel with my own food so I really appreciate the refrigerator and the microwave in the room. New carpet and art work make the rooms updated.
Mark, a recent addition to the front desk is efficient, friendly, professional and accommodating. The shuttle van is always on time and offers a comfortable 4 minute ride door to door to the airport.
Thank you Sleep Inn and entire staff.
Desk staff very nice and friendly. Bathroom fixtures need to be replaced. WiFi is lousy.
We did a park sleep fly package. Perfectly comfortable rooms and quiet. No complaints!
This is a tricky review to write. I visited as I got stranded in Phoenix and this was the hotel the airline comped me for so I did not pay out of pocket. There was a large line of people and just one person available to check everyone in. I am amazed at how he maintained an air of friendliness and composure among a large group of angry travelers. This man was a saint and deserves to be recognized for going well above and beyond. My room was one that was almost finished with renovations. Light switches did not work, the bathroom fan made a clunking noise and did not operate, and the room clearly was not finished. The bed was pretty comfortable which was a big plus. Partly because of the renovations the room just felt dingy. At the end of the day I was very thankful to have a room to sleep in after being stranded but this is not a hotel that I would have booked of my own accord.
The hotel is in the middle of remodeling. My room is nice and clean but accept the burn lamp shades, the sink faucet needs to be replaced with one that does not have scale stuff on it. Shower is extra large. housekeeping came cleaned the bathroom again for us. The bed is nice and soft.
Absolutely one of the best Phoenix area Choice Hotels! The room was very clean and pleasant. The staff are exceptional! I made the hotel my choice for Phoenix; unlike grumpy flight delayed individuals who are egocentric, rude, and have nothing better to do than write opinionated reviews for otherwise good hotels.
It was a great location, very close to the airport. The rooms were clean and the service was good. Free breakfast in the morning wasn't anything to die for but was nice to have. Fair warning the proximity to the airport gives to a lot of noise at night with planes flying over. Also they have a shuttle service to the airport that is great but make sure to tell them what terminal you are at if they are picking you up from the airport.
People were friendly, place was clean, and breakfast (included) was pretty decent! It was not the most modern place, there was some remodeling going on and the noise from the freeway it was next to was a little annoying. Still I would recommend the place. They did not have a restaurant, but we're across the street from a Hilton that had 2.
Dirty sheets, room was non smoking but had a lingering smell. Doors looked to be falling apart and stuck when trying to open. Staff was fine and helpful enough, but not particularly proactive.
This place was a joke. The carpet is horrendously gross. The room we stayed at had a constant drip from the shower. The staff was very rude. There was no towels for us to go to the pool asked the front desk and was given 2 when we had a group of 7 the lady upfront said staff during the day did not do laundry. The hot tub was putting out cold water. Called in after stay to complain to manager and was told that all he could do is a discount if we returned which will NEVER happen. There are far better quality hotels in the area for the same price I would recommend going elsewhere.
Exceptional service for the price. We had a layover at the airport and was promptly meet with the hotel shuttle. I left my cellphone battery and charger plugged into the wall the next day. When contacted they were happy to ship it to me priority mail with a tracking number. They only charged me for the actual postage. Highly recommended!
