Was there for a company Christmas party. Ballroom had a nice little dance floor and stage and was maintained well. Pretty good sized room for the event too. Service was pretty good as well. Wouldn't mind another event there.
Went to see the Western Collectibles and Firearms Show. It was a larger setup than we expected as far as vendor space goes. There was plenty of parking available without a charge. The hotel is well kept and maintained. We also eat there at the Cabos restaurant occasionally for their prime rib special on Fridays & Saturdays. Always get a nicely prepared prime rib dinner at a decent price.
Excellent service, clean room, attentive staff. Cedric at the front desk was knowledgeable and engaging. John, the on duty manager of Cabos restaurant, served us in a timely and professional fashion. Great stay overall.
Good hotel to stay the night during a conference. Breakfast was good as well. Hotel interior could use minior repairs. Parking lot is very dark at night.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The Hotel itself was old but acceptably clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and clean. Rooms and hallways did smell of old cigarette smoke even though hotel is currently smoke free. Definitely in need of a remodel. Over all it was suitable for a place to lay our heads for the night.
The staff are very friendly and professional. The building is older so understand that when choosing to stay here. The rooms are clean. But dated. Others have commented on the train going by. We didn't hear it with the ac unit on high. The pool is inviting in the hot weather. The breakfast buffet is great. There is a lot of choices for the whole family. We would likely stay there again.
The hospitality is wonderful. The people strive to please the clients and you will always see them greet you with a radiant smile. The pool and hot tub are always clean
And well kept. They have a gym. Also there are refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. It is a nice place to stay.
The king size bed suite was perfect for three adults. The bathroom was spacious. It's obvious the rooms have been renovated, but it may be time for a touch up. The staff was incredibly friendly and took pride in their hotel and community. The attached restaurant was convenient and pretty good.
It's as okay as any other Holiday Inn (I say this as a person who always prefers Holiday Inn Hotels.) It is a little long in the tooth, but nothing to shy away from. The rooms are clean, the AC is pretty cool, and the Restaurant / Bar is decent. The breakfast though is much better than I am used to from Holiday Inn - I wish they were all at least this decent.
I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Casa Grande, so they literally had one shot at making a decent impression. The one redeeming factor during my stay is that their breakfast buffet was delicious with lots to choose from; also our server there was courteous and attentive. That is not true of the desk staff however. My recommendation would be to provide some level of customer service training to the desk staff.
Don't be fooled by the beautiful lobby. Once inside the rooms you will see how filthy and ran down everything is. The bathroom floor was filthy, so was the shower. The bedding had dried mucus on it. The restaurant tables and chairs were filthy, there was also mold growing in the shower. The staff was rude and didn't want to give us extra towels for 4 of us to take showers. There were only 3 in the room. They proceeded to talk bad about other guests to us after hanging up the phone with them. I will never stay here again and will probably never stay at Holiday Inn again period.
Very nice hotel. Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. You get a coupon for a breakfast buffet in the adjoining restaurant. The only complaint would be a near by train track and the train horn is loud and it goes many times a night. They do offer ear plugs in your room. I used the laundry and the washer and dryer did a good job for $1.50 a load.
