I am a skater, all day every day so I've been to LOTS & LOTS of rinks in other cities & states! This was my first time at Skate World in Indiana but I had an awesome time!!! The energy, the vibe, the music, the atmosphere is really nice & staff friendly. The only one thing I did not like was the floor, I'm used to a slippery floor & this floor is extremely grippy. For people who don't skate very well it's perfect because you can't do much, but any turns & tricks you'd better have the most slippery wheels out there. The rental skates may compliment the floor better, as I have my own skates. Other than that I suggest you check it out, you won't regret it!! P.S. it's tucked away in the back and easy to miss so you have to look for it!

The speaker system is old and impossible to understand what the people are saying. One employee cursed at my child which is completely unacceptable, he was only letting her know one of the machines stole his money.

I had my granddaughters birthday party here and it was wss different then I had expected. The staff wss helpful and professional she had an awesome time.

The staff is overall, nice. Pretty clean facility. Prices aren't too unreasonable.
They need skates that aren't broken!
They also need some type of security. Very rude, disrespectful, thug wannabe's get dropped off here like it's a daycare center for delinquents & get in numerous fights every time we've been. Seems to be a lot of the same kids causing trouble, so I'm not sure why they aren't banned. I'm a family of 7 & we WILL NOT go here on Friday or Saturday nights, if at all, due to incidents that happened near us & resulted in 2 of my kids being hit & injured. The parents don't seem to care when they are alerted about their child's behavior. I've witnessed parents actually encouraging the fights & went as far as following someone home so their daughters could fight these kids.
So, *Get better conditioned skates &
*better security measures
*Keep the prices

Great family fun! Sat & Fri nights are mainly tweens & teens. So for younger kids and beginners day time is more efficient. My kids have been skating here for years. Staff is always willing to help with any issue. Birthday parties are affordable and stress free.

Been here for 17yrs. Yes it has it moments but you can always count on the owners to make it right. My kids have grown up here and still to this day we skate here. It's like a big family and they try to accommodate everyone.
