A wonderful place to spend the day with family and friends or just a relaxing day to yourself. Swim, lay on the beach, fish or have a cookout. Nice clean areas & bathroom facilities with showers. Off you have kids they'll enjoy the parks playground. If you have a boat & want to spend the day on the lake there's a boat ramp with parking. A great day get away that's very budget friendly!

One of the best beach access to Hartwell. Worth the drive down there

Because the area is well kept and they have picnic tables with grills. And the most amazing part is the sunsets. OMG ABSOLUTELY BREATH TAKING.

Visited my son that was there with his father. Water was nasty looking. There were a lot of rocks around where they swam. He got injured several times.

This was so beautiful. However it's near a farm and the smell of manure wafted over the area. Didn't ruin our short visit but if your planning a picnic here, go there and get out of the car first. You may need to change you picnic locale. Or not. Just have to see that day.
