Stayed here 9 days. This is 5th time here. Clean quite very nice campground BUT they shut water off for whole campground and never notified anyone about this. Was not able to put extra water in fresh water tank. Contacted people at gate and was told they did not know about water being shut off and were no help. Water was off at 9am and as of 2:15pm still off on whole campground. Toilets in restroom look very bad as you can imagine. Contacted main office for Lake Harwell and received no reply as of this review. This should have never happened because they are closing park as of Sept 30th.
We prefer state campgrounds, there is more privacy between campsites and more of an outdoors feel. We were there for the eclipse and had an excellent open spot very close to our site. Showers/bathroom are adequate. Power and water were good. Dump station was available. Water was nice as we brought our kayaks and our site was on the water.
Older campground but all in all everything worked as it should, and the campground hosts were very nice helpful and informative beautiful place to camp.
Beautiful camp sites. A lot of sites on the water. Very clean.
Amazing place to camp, everything you need is not to far and lots of extras like cold water lines, electric outlets, and lots of space. The lake is amazing.
This is an exceptional park that is a hidden treasure. Bring your bike, boat or kayak and be prepared for one of the nicest campgrounds around.
If you hear banjos its not hillbillies, its just bluegrass
Wish this was open year round
We love this campground! It has a very nice boat ramp, and the camping spots are quite spacious and shaded! We will definitely be visiting again!
Nice place. Right on the lake
Great state park to camp. We come here every year!
