Beautiful area, however do not believe it is tent friendly. Was woken up around midnight to tell me I had to move my tent on to the concrete from the grass I had it on 30ft away.

We've been camping here for more than 30 years. The improvements have been wonderful and the location can't be beat.

Drove about an hour to check out this Campground. Arrived at 8pm . stopped at the gate. An attendant was on her computer and did not
look up at us for about 3 minutes. When she did, she asked if she could help us with anything. I told her we wanted to drive thru to check out sites 95 and 97 because a friend had suggested we reserve those sites to camp near them. She said it was not allowed for us to drive thru that the park closed to people driving thru ant 7:00. I told her we had driven an hour and we just wanted to check those sites before reserving. She said, well you can always come back tomorrow between 7a.m. and 7 p.m. I
asked if this was noted on the Web site and she said no. I asked for a map and she said well, "I can do that for you." I thanked her and left .

The campground itself was clean and the site we were on was very secluded BUT, I don't think I will be visiting again for a while. The Campground hosts were insanely rude to my entire family. We are not a rowdy group or "Rule-breakers". We were basically interrogated every time we entered in to or left the campground because of a rule with the car passes that we were not aware of in the first place. It seemed like every time we went through the gate, the camp hosts HAD to say something rude to us. Including, "If I come down to that site and you have more than 3 cars on it, YOUR OUTA HEAR!!!" at 10'oclock at night. These constant rude comments put my family in a bad mood and marred the family outing for us enough to not come back.

Conveniently located next to the rear access to Clemson, which avoids the game day traffic. Camping facilities that keep the wife happy, but not so commercial & resort like that you can't relax in nature.

Great campground! Stayed a week in our 35ft. Fifth wheel. Large sites. Would have given it a 5 star if not for the pesky squirrels, they were a nuisance all week. When I hooked up to leave, my trailer brakes were not working. A trip to the dealership and found that the squirrels had chewed my brake line apart at the axle. New trailer so I know it happened there.
