  Food always awesome! Staff is all very friendly.
  
  I've stayed in the cabin here numerous times, and always find it to be perfectly quaint and appropriately priced. The morning view out the front, over Silver Lake door is spectacular.
  
  I love the store, so much more relaxed than the large brand gas stations, with so much more personality.

  Love the place !! The food is great, the people here are friendly and more than helpful and you can go fishing at the lake and come back w/all the blue gills you can eat It's neat and clean. There is a little store that has most anything you might need can't say enough good about it !

  We camped one night in a tent along the lake during our cross country bicycle trip. We happened to be there on a Friday night so we were able to enjoy the fish fry in the restaurant. After a restful night, we had a hearty breakfast to send us on our way. Pete has a very nice place, and made sure were we had everything we needed.

  High priced items at the general store.
  
  Crunchy basically skin only , inedible whitefish fish fry. Greasy limp fries, and one piece of bread for 2 take-outs.

  Seriously a gem of the UP. Worth a drive from Marquette to try the food that ranges from good old nest and potatoes to meals for the pickiest vegetarians. Yum!
