The campsites are a little close together, but they all have electrical hookups and there's WiFi throughout the campground. There are train tracks that cut through the campgrounds that are still in use.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, don't go here. There is a beach party every weekend with a blasting sound system that is deeply disturbing to everyone on the east end of Lake Michigamme. Long time lake owners have spoken with the campground owners to no avail. Please don't patronize this business until the owners learn to cooperate with their neighbors.

This was a great campground. We had full hook-up, shady site, easy to pull into. Laundry and bath facilities could be improved. Outstand beach and lake.

New owners (2016?) They have really cleaned up the place! I see that several sites are being revamped (it's October and definitely off season), and they have added brand new RVs to rent.

We booked a site at this campground just through finding it on the internet. We were pleasantly surprised as sometimes places look a lot better online than they do in person. The campground was very clean and well kept. The kids loved the water slide, trampoline and the walk- on-water. The site was a really good size, lots of shade and level. Site # 42 was a short walk from the beach and dock. The staff and new owner were super nice and helpful. The bathrooms and shower were very clean. We used the laundry facilities a couple of times. If you like to sleep in, I believe the train comes through every morning around 8:00 and then again in the evening. We were almost always out on the lake when it came through, but could hear the whistle every morning. Would have been nice if the camp store would have sold bait, but it was a short drive to Champion to get what we needed. If you are going there to fish, be prepared for the rocky bottom of the lake as we lost many hooks and several lures due to that fact. A depth finder is a must if you are going to fish this lake. We caught a few keeper walleye, one keeper pike and a few keeper black crappie. We mainly trolled around 15 feet deep and jigged in 20 foot of water with leeches. Also dropped lines with minnows off the side of the boat catching a lot of rock bass, smallmouth bass and a few walleye this way.

Great atmosphere, the owners are very personable and make it fun for everyone here. Also, cheap boat rentals!
