This cafe exists only to remind you of how few options you have in the morning for a decently prepared lunch. Yes, it is food, but with the least amount of effort an care possible. This is what coasting tastes like.

The roast beef sandwich is a stunning combination of the blandest ingredients, joined together in one of the more disappointing lunch of your life. I would hope a place with "bakery" in its name would be able to produce a more edible bread-product than the kitchen-sink-sponge bun this came on. Even hollowing out the bread and adding mustard could not turn this into a more enjoyable experience.

This was accompanied by an uninvited cookie, equally miserable. The only thing invoked by the taste and texture was waiting in an airport for a flight that had been delayed several hours.

I've been working downtown off and on since 2008 and this is both the first and last time I'll subject myself to this monument of mediocrity. There are several 7-11s now that can offer better quality at half the price.

This review is for the downtown Dallas location in Renaissance Tower

Worker Bee + Lunch + Downtown = Captive Audience

Trust me, if you don’t fall into one these three categories then don’t bother.
• The staff is rude especially cashier
• They don’t ask if you’ve been helped; you have to ask them to help you
• May or may not speak English
• Sandwich was bland: ordered a Ham and Swiss which came with sticky white bread and very little meat and lettuce.
• Was not offered my choice of bread or condiment.
• A free cookie came with the sandwich but I had to remind them of that. I ended up giving it away to someone else because my appetite was gone.

Save yourself the trouble and walk around the corner to the food court.

I eat here all the time as it is very convenient to where I sometimes work. The food is fresh and yummy and the cookies are awesome. The staff, generally, is very friendly and helpful, but when it gets really busy (like right at noon) they can be a little abrupt. Their breakfast croissant is delicious, probably very unhealthy, and a good price. They are in the basement of the Renaissance tower, just in case you are wondering why you can't see them from the street.

The service is still nice as before, however the salads are getting smaller by the day. A small salad now bare fills half the small container it comes in. The salads are usually pretty tasty, but not enough for a meal any more. It's time to take my business elsewhere.
