The hotel is cool to stay in as it is old school historic. Would give it 5 stars if they had a continental breakfast offered. Will stay there again for no reason other than to stay there, and eat the best food, arguably in the state.. great staff

To share all that happened at this hotel, would take all day. Watch out for all the glowing reviews, as I was told that they have friends go to the site to post positive reviews! Suffice to say that when your staff is blatantly rude and there is no supervision by the owners, they get lazy and carefree in their duties and behaviors. The room was very small, no lighting. Had to leave the shades opened so that the air-conditioner would work. Had light coming in all night long. No sleep! Wifi is almost non existent! No one to complain to as the desk manager was the person who was the worst! I will never stay there again!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and amazing customer service. A lady by the name of Rebecca at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice bar area and brewery. Service was nice and they had a few selections of their own beer. Atmosphere was nice and parking was easy. Would definitely stop by again

The Faust Hotel Most friendly and helpful House Keeping manager ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to a function I was attending along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in. If nothing else had gone right with hotel this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in Island bar where we had lunch and restaurant where we had dinner. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service in both places attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Thank you all so much

The menu is varied and the food is excellent. They have a full bar plus their own craft beers. The bar and restaurant staff are kind and attentive, but not intrusive. This is my favorite place to eat in New Braunfels. Try the lamb skewers once, you'll be back to have them again.

It's an old place. It could use some freshening up, but they've paid attention to the important parts. The bedding was very clean and comfortable, the room felt clean as well. The common areas need a little more attention. Otherwise it was great! Location location location

Spinach & Artichoke dip is pretty much perfect. The beer is better than Freetails in my opinion. And the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Great food and drinks! I was literally there for 13 hours for a corporate event, and I drink a lot of water. And I mean A LOT. The wait staff was very attentive in making sure each table had a full pitcher of water(for over 75 people, mind you). I don't even that great of service for a table of 3. I am very happy with my experience there!
