Consistently great burgers and what not! One of the best, of not THE BEST music venues in the San Antonio area.

A great place for Incredible burgers with a casual fun atmosphere for lunch. And at night, just add live music, special guest appearances, drinks, dancing and it's the perfect place for local and visitors alike. Make sure to look this one up, cause you just might miss this place if you're not looking for it!!

Great place for an old fashion hamburger. The establishment is amazing with the ceiling and walls filled with license plates, musician memorabilia. Staff was friendly and attentive. Their hamburger buns are branded with their name :)

I saw a you tube video of a group of friends that went to Sams for a burger. They really seemed to enjoy the food. I couldn't wait to try the burgers for myself! The next day my wife and I took a 21 minute drive to try it out for ourselves. We waited in line and placed our order. We sat and waited maybe 20 or 30 minute before receiving our meal. Now I'm not upset at the wait time it took to receive our food, if I wanted quick I would have gone to a fast food joint. However when I pick up the burger to take my first bite, the 1st thing I notice was that the buns where cold and falling apart, as I bit the burger I noticed the patty was bearly warm and the burger was on the dry side. It made no sense to me. 30 min for my meal and I received a burger that was not made to order! ??? I paid 30 dollar for just two meals and I was really disappointed. Sorry guys but your Cooks really dropped the ball. My guess is that they precooked burgers and took short cuts like not warming up the buns. What happen???

Great sound and beautiful stage. Yummy food. Extremely limited seating. Worth it to buy a table online ahead of time.

Expensive for what it was. Burger was just okay and they forgot toppings which I paid extra for. Concert was good.. volume was too high on the front speakers and killed my ears, would recommend bringing earplugs

This place has rustic rock and roll feel. The food is a bit on the pricey side and all the burgers and sandwiches are sold a la carte style.sides are extra, and so are the drinks. However, the burgers are pretty good. Esp the turkey burger and the bacon cheddar burger, even the kids meal :-) the staff is very nice and friendly.

How is this place popular? Burger was 80% dry bun with a hardened piece of VERY well done beef (even though a sign clearly states they cook all of their burgers to medium). Fries were boring. Even the Coke was too light on the syrup. The only reason I gave an extra star was because of the staff, who was (reasonably) friendly for such a busy Friday night. Definitely won't be back here.

Was not impressed with the burgers or fries here at all. My companion did have the sweet potato fries, which were much better than the waffle ones. I got the cheddar bacon burger. It was loaded with bacon, which was extremely fatty and not well-done/crispy at all. That texture contrast is huge in making a good bacon burger. I ended up taking off about 90% of the bacon on it. The meat itself was okay, nothing really that flavorful. I wouldn't go back again for the food, though I do hear they have some great talent at the music venue section.

Great atmosphere. Good burgers. The fries were a bit bland. There's no AC though so on a hot day it's hot even inside. They have some big fans inside but they're not very fast. I only went during lunch time so I can't really speak to how the nightlife is but it looked fully capable supporting a large crowd.

Little crowded but got our food out fast. Delicious burger. Chicken strips were hot and crispy. Chili on the Frito pie was cold otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Cool kinda funky place will go back when in San Antonio.

Really neat place with some cool history. Burgers are reasonably priced and pretty tasty. The music venue is next to the burger place (feet away) and concert was super fun! Friendly staff, close free parking under 281. Will be going back for sure!

Not a bad place for burgers and drinks. But a few cons to this place. Portion sizes of the burger patties and sides have decreased which is a slight bummer. They've changed the recipe of their onion rings, now they're less breading and seasoning.
A good reminder, if you're planning on going out in the evening, remember the wait times for your burgers are going to be longer. Give it an hour or hour and a half just because how busy it'll be.response / report this review
