Terrible food, terrible service and high prices! Pastries and food were old and stale. Plastic silverware and horrible service. Stay away!! Place is a DUMP!
Wasn't the best.ate breakfasti had the reknowned french toast.was more eggy and fluffy than traditional french toast, not my favorite took home some bakery items.just ok.true fact, Wal-Mart's bakery is better.
Hidden gem on Hilton Head Island. Eclectic. Some outstanding breakfast choices served all day. Indoor outdoor seating. Friendly service. Fresh baked goods. A Hilton Head Island landmark. One of oldest restaurants on island.
Homey atmosphere. Great food. Good service. Favorite for locals !!!
What a fun, quirky hometown restaurant!! Great service & food!
We arrived shortly before noon and immediately received a warm welcome and were seated. We had a hot breakfast inside and what we ordered was 'good'. While seated we noticed a steady stream of people arriving at noon and mostly placing orders to go, this impacted our service considerably. The people in line seemed mostly to be locals and regulars. We intend to return and order the baked goods. The 3 is based only on the quality of the breakfast and the lack of service once lunch hour hit.
The "award winning" french toast tasted left over from yesterday. It required more butter and syrup than usual. The plate was glass, but the utensils plastic. Really?! Very few people there for breakfast. More came after 10:00.
This is the BEST bakery and breakfast spot on the island. Ms. Signe is the original owner and has been in business longer than any other business on the island. She is great and so is her restaurant.
The Signe's Deep Dish French Toast is a great take on a classic dish. I'd recommend to anyone.
A friend who is a regular Hilton Head visitor recommended Signe's for breakfast and did not steer us wrong. My husband tried the Rachel Ray favorite French toast and I got a crab quiche. Both were excellent. We also purchased some baked goods to bring home as gifts. Really tasty stuff. Worth the trip.
The food was Fresh AND Flavorful. The staff friendly, cheerful, and inviting!
We were on the island for eight days, and ate at many "up scale " restaurant". But none was as flavorful or had staff as friendly as Signe's Heaven
