Needs MAJOR updating and repairs!! omg! I'm a local and live in Florida. I know what to expect when it comes to beach rentalspalmetto bugs can sneak in sometimes and sand can get inside.but this was disappointing. VERY old! Can't say it was "dirty" but it looked dirty because it needs an overhaul. The staff was nice I'll give them that. Free breakfast? I wouldn't call that breakfast.coffee and granola bars. The only good part about it was the location. We were able to walk everywhere.

I am a Siesta Key lover.as I've had a condo on the south end by point of rock for many years and sold it when going thru a divorce. I booked this location last night for a few days over Thanksgiving. I am bringing someone who has never been to Siesta Key before and want them to get the full experience in our short 4 nights here.
I am writing this due to reading some of the reviews. First of all I can not review my stay as its yet to come but I can review on the customer service I've received so far. I booked my reservations online last night. I called today to confirm and ask a few questions and I spoke to a very polite young man named Cory. He was very patient, straightforward / truthful and very informative with me unlike some of the reviews I've read concerning the staff at this location.
I am confident I am going to be happy with my room and I am certain I am going to enjoy staying here this close to the ocean and being down in the village. I'm fully aware its not one of the nicer places on the key..so If I wanted anything more than this location I would of booked the Hyatt!!!!!!!
My 5 stars reflect the customer service I've received so far and I'm not even there yet. I will most definitely be posting another review after my mini vacation!!!!!!
Thank you Cory for your time answering all my questions. (Might I add a 20 min call)
    Sea..ya soon

Very basic accommodations. We rented the two bedroom. Pros: very close to the beach and town, restaurants etc. Clean, friendly service, pool was nice, they let us park there before check in and after check out to go to the beach. Cons: very dated and almost dilapidated, tvs were old, carpet needed to be changed years ago. I knew what I was getting. A friend was in town and I stayed only one night. It is a budget motel with a pool that somehow qualified as a resort. All together a positive experience.

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Only good thing was the location. It is near everything, however the place is in terrible condition. Our room had duct tape on the A/C, holes in the walls, an extension cord behind the bed (fire hazard) and it smelled. It is probably the cheapest place in the area so you figure "you get what you pay for". We drew the line when cockroaches came out of the sink while we were getting ready for bed, never staying the night and driving an hour and a half back home. When requesting a refund I received a cold shoulder about my stay then finally promised a refund while being told you get what you pay for! Kind of hard not to, when the place is kept so poorly. Never did receive a refund. One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

Nasty.. no really, "dump" is too good. We had a two bedroom "suite".. some of the online pictures of rooms look rehabbed.. this one was completely redone.. like 35 years ago.. on a positive note the cockroaches seemed very happy.

This is probably the worst place we have ever stayed. It was extremely dirty and pretty much everywhere you looked in the room, something needed to be replaced. When we got there in the afternoon, we requested a room by the pool. They said the room wasn't ready yet, which is totally understandable. But when we got to the room, we expected it to be clean since we had to wait a couple hours for them to "get it ready". There were blood stains on our bedspread, every wall was extremely filthy, the bathroom door was cracked in multiple places and looked like it had never been cleaned, there were stains on the walls, the walls around the light switches and the doors around the handles were black from filth, and the window lock wasn't even attached to the window on a GROUND level room! I don't feel like much further explanation is needed since I was able to upload photos. Just look at them and they speak for themselves. The only plus sides to this place was the location was great, and they have a decent pool. But there is no way that I would ever stay here again, or recommend it to anyone.

I've stayed at this place a number of times over the years. Very good staff, GREAT LOCATION! NOT a better spot on the island. Clean, but unfortunately for the price it is aging maintenance is due, but not at the fault of the owners, the place is simply becoming dated. I will stay here for a few more years but its good days appear numbered without severe investments.

Never thought I could get such a deal a stones throw from the nicest beach in the states. I will be back again and again to this resort to see that gorgeous sunset on the beach. Staff was friendly and accommodating. 10/10 all the way.

Booked two nights very dirty rooms, dated not worth the money might as well sleep in your car. The power went out tried to ask for a refund for the second night they refused to refund the money what a waste of 300 dollars. Stay away and avoid at all costs unless you like bedbugs, dirty rooms and horrible service

we have stayed a few times at Siesta Beach Resort & Suites, and enjoyed the accommodations. Especially since it is close to the beach. However, as for the beach, especially down near the public beach, there should be at least 2 or 3 of these walkways put in place so that we, the devoted visitors do not have to "pull" , "drag", "push", our heavy loads we need to bring to the beach.. PLEASE look into getting the town to get some of these walkways in place, and you just might get more of "us" to stay, visit more, or possibly even buy in Siesta Keys .

Is it a 4, 5 star hotel? No. But, my friend and I checked in this afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. Its a quaint old school style motel. Our room was basic but decent. It could use a good scrubbing but beds comfy, sheets clean, bathroom clean and staff was courteous. The pool is great. Low on amenities but overall its fine. You can not beat the location! If you want a place to just put your stuff down, be able to sleep n go explore Siesta Key Village. This is a great little place.
