we're here from New York with an autistic child and asked to be seated quickly and they totally hooked us up ..and the table I wantednow on to the drinks and food OMGthis food was insanely good ..it blows my mind that you can mix foods like this and they taste like u left the planet soooo goooodfrom the staff at the front door and are waitress you guys rockhave a merry Christmas

Shrimpers is one of the best local style Florida restaraunts in Stuart. The food is typically very good and the service usually very friendly as well. My kids love being able to sit on the water and feed the fish that congregate at the dock. This is usually the go to restaurant for us when family visits and wants to go somewhere 'Florida-y'.
The cracked conch, grouper Reuben, and Tuna are must haves.response / report this review -

This is an outstanding casual waterfront restaurant that you would expect to find in South Florida. The cuisine is just out of this world with interesting daily specials.
The waiters are attentive and I suggest you ask their opinions on the specials. Everything is fresh and the chef knows how to prepare it with a great presentation.

Update last visit went great! Service good, food was freash and well prep, fish cooked well. Beer was cold and glass clean. Will be going there again for happy hour? Welldone!

We have been coming to Shrimper's for years. Great waterfront atmosphere at the Manatee Pocket. Come by car or boat, you are sure to have a good meal and a great time.

Located in Manatee Pocket, it's a fun place to have happy hour. Food is great (and plentiful). Drinks are good. Outside bar is good to watch boats go by.

Great service. Great beer. Food sucked. 4 dinners, 4 meals over cooked. Price was too high. Did not say anything was running late. Being the service was great I know they would have taken it back.

Greeted at entrance. Hostess was ready. Server was very nice and so quick with our drinks and food. I was Impressed.

Of the 3 restaurants on the water in Port Salerno this is our favorite. The food is consistent, but it's the service that we love. They take care of you here, the other two can't wait to turn your table over to the next guy unless they forget about you completely.

Food was just OK and kinda pricey, but Matt, our waiter, was a class-act. He made the visit here completely fun and entertaining and comfortable. Would give him 5 stars, the atmosphere 4 stars and the food 3. This makes sense in my mind anyway. Would go again but maybe just for drinks.
