Great beach!

I will start off by saying the location was great, we were right across the street from the beach which was really nice! You saw the ocean pretty much out of every window. But the moment we walked in it smelt musty and like there was mildew growing in the house. You could see some mildew growing out of the vents. I ended up getting very sick toward the end of the week and I believe it was from sleeping in that house that obviously isn't being taken care of. They did have everything you needed to live there for the week so that was nice as well but the house itself is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The porch is extremely dangerous! Boards and nails coming up all over the place also holes so if you have kids I'd be very careful staying here. There was a lot of things broken in the house i.e. dish washer, microwave, dvd player etc and you can see from the log book that most of the things I am commenting on here about have been addressed dating back to 2007 and nothing has been done to fix or address the issues. We had a great time either way but the house definitely needs a lot of maintenance done to it. My opinion, no one should be staying there until it is taken care of especially the mildew and the patio/porch. I gave it 2 stars vs 1 because it could be a great vacation home if it was taken care of and like i said earlier we did have a good time there but we definitely won't be staying there again
